It was another day at the base for Amber, and to say quite a bit happened over the course of her return. She's met new teammates, reunited with Kaldur and the two now have a thing going on for each other. Kaldur and her meet ever so often to talk, the location varying to avoid any suspicion.

A light smile came on Amber's face at the thought of everytime the two of them met up. It was a joyous occasion.

Aside from that Amber was up to other things. Amber was able to get her job back as a model, apparently she found out from Nightwing that when she disappeared he and Batman had made a cover story for her job that she was taking a break from the modeling world.

And when Amber decided that it was time to get back to work to make some money on this Earth, her old modeling job took her in with open arms.

When Amber wasn't spending time with Kaldur or at her modeling job, she was at Mount Justice getting back to her training or every now and then conversing with the other members. During that time she had even bonded with Blue. After their last mission together with Connor, Jaime seemed to have opened up to Amber. And from the way the kid looked when Amber saw his face lit up everytime he asked to spar or simply chat with her brought an amusing smile to her face.

Jaime was a fun kid to be around, even when he was talking to the scarab and she had no idea what he was talking about. Speaking of the scarab Amber remembered when the two of them were sparring when suddenly Jaime's face turned a blushing red.

At first Amber thought that the boy was just tired when he suddenly shouted out, "I'm not marrying her!!"

At the moment Amber was completely baffled as she looked at Jaime with absolute confusion. Amber had taken a lucky guess that it was the scarab talking to him and when she asked him what it was Jaime turned a blushing red much brighter than before.

But all Amber was able to get out of Jaime were a few mumbling words of Scarab, dumb, scarab, shut up scarab, and no, along with a few other words. However it still didn't fully explain what the matter was. So Amber just dropped the matter.

A small chuckle left Amber's lips at the fond memories she's made recently.

Amber was then snapped out of her thoughts when she heard movement. Looking up, Amber spotted two giant panthers in front of her. It was Yin and Yang.

Amber had taken them outside to get a nice stretch after being stuck in her pocket dimension for so long.

But it seems they were done doing so. Amber raised her hand to give each of the panthers a scratch on the head before the two returned back into her shadow.

Standing up now, Amber gave her body a stretch of its own. Once she heard a satisfying pop Amber reeled her body back in and turned to head back inside Mount Justice.

Once she was inside Amber was met by the sight of Nightwing, Robin, and Garfield standing in front of a kid in a white suit with a large red line going down the middle. Heading to take a closer look Amber noticed that the kid was in handcuffs.

Nightwing, probably having heard her footsteps, turned to see Amber approach them. Noticing, Nightwings gaze on Amber looked up at him in question.

Just as Nightwing opened his mouth he was interrupted as the mysterious kid suddenly blurted out.

"Oh my god, this is so crash! I can't believe it!" Amber, now standing with the other, looked down at the kid with confusement.

"What–" Amber, however, was interrupted.
