End of the Beginning

More facts!

This was the very first story I had written and now that it's over I feel a bit melancholic knowing that it wont continue anymore but I did compile a list of events that happened after the story's end. I tried to make it as detailed and in chronological order as possible so without further ado

- Soon after Kya left Wolf's Cove she began a fund for the first university in the South Pole and it rapidly became known as second best in education to Ba Sing Se university, the primary choice of study was in the liberal arts field. In honor of her service in pushing the growth of the city further they erected a statue of her in front of the university's gates.

- Zuko and Kya officially married almost a year after their betrothal at the ages of 20. The first ceremony was in the Fire Nation and another in the Southern Water Tribe. Both weddings were traditional to their respective nation and despite them both wanting quiet weddings they couldn't due to their positions but they didn't mind it in the end. Enjoying it as much more than they had imagined they would.

- Every anniversary was dedicated to visiting Ba Sing Se, including Iroh at the Jasmine Dragon and then concluding it at a Fire Nation theatre to watch Love Amongst the Dragons. In between, the two destinations they would go sight seeing.

- Zuko and Kya had essentially become second parents for Kiyi despite Zuko being his sister because of her young age, growing a strong bond with the little girl and eventually making them feel prepared to have kids of their own one day.

- Zuko and Kya had four kids, as per Aunt Wu's prediction.
~ The first born being Siku, who was born an incredibly powerful fire bender and then became a combustion bender after deciding to leave his position as the Crowned Prince at the age of 17 to travel the world. During this time he became involved with a dangerous crowd in what was known as the freshly formed United Republic (if you know how combustion bending came to be than you can just guess what happened to him :p) He also seemed to have a blossoming relationship with a man who turned out to be Akira's son, but with all the problems Siku had in the city it resulted in the pair separating. He ended up living in the South with his uncle Sokka and Grandparents wishing to embrace more of his Southern heritage and remaining single for the rest of his life, taking on the role as a Chieftain. After that, he adopted a fire bending boy he met on a diplomatic trip
~ The second born was Izumi, the name standing for the season in which Kya and Zuko began dating in Ba Sing Se. To the surprise of many, was a non bender who had a strong liking for politics and humanitarian across the Fire Nation causes, and was excited to learn that her brother had passed the title of heir to the throne to her. Promising to do a good job in replacement to Siku, making him feel better leaving the position to her. She ended up marrying a man who was General Mak's son, who died of illness despite Kya's best attempts at healing him. They had Iroh II together
~ And lastly the twins, Yuki and Yutu. The two were powerful water benders both becoming masters at quite a young age. They had often wished to spend time with their aunt Katara in Republic City to break free from the rigid lifestyle Fire Nation schools provided. But in the end, they respected Kya and Zuko's wishes to continue raising them until they were older. Knowing what had happened to Siku when he left home around the age they were when they wanted to leave (16). After completing their schooling they both wanted to pursue higher education, Yuki deciding to go to Wolf Cove's institute while Yutu went to the United Republic for education there. In the end, the two ended up with positions at the United Republic Council. Yutu for international affairs and Yuki for medical welfare

- Pakku had waited for Kya and Zuko's first waterbending child and lucky managed to be alive by the time the twins were born. After that, Kanna had kept many of his water bending scrolls to give to them when they got older.

- Durk and Siku were close in age so when they were young Kya constantly joked that Durk would end up bonding with Siku rather than Zuko who was his owner
