It was Saturday afternoon and Mary rested after visiting her grandmother previously that morning.

Blig-Bling

She sighed and looked at her phone. It was a text from Mr Macallister.

'Be ready by 5 pm I will be taking you to the party.'

Mary sighed a bit agitated. She didn't want to be dependent on Mr Macallister. If she wanted to leave the party early she didn't want to have to express that to Mr Macallister.

She in fact was ready by 4:30 just in case. She Wore a long black dress that hugged her body and pretty black heels. All things she bought on sale but she adorn them well. Mary grew up around John's upper class peers, she knows they may be nice to your face and as soon as you turn your back they will critique everything about you.

At 4:50 Mr Macallister arrived. He went in through the dirt road this time and stationed his car right in front of the cottage. She heard his car pulling up and opened the door right when he was about to knock.

He scanned her, slowly. She couldn't figure out if he liked her look or hated it. His eyes lingered on her for a while then met her eyes and snapped out of his trance.

"Let's go." He said in a low raspy voice. He offered his hand and she took it. He let her to the car and opened the door for her. Where was this gentle man hiding all along? She thought to herself. The car ride was pleasantly silent. Something they both could enjoy. Halfway Mary realized they weren't going to a venue when she looked at the GPS and it read 'Home #1' Which most likely meant his parents' home.

When they arrived It was a huge mansion surrounded by a great property. A gorgeous lawn with beautifully shaped bushes. The home looked like a colonial house which was very similar to some of the buildings at the university Mary attended.

Mary looked at Mr Macallister who had stopped the car but hadn't moved. She noticed his eyes pointed in the direction of a tall blonde woman and a man who was very similar to Benjamine.

"Is everything alright, Mr Macallister." He looked at her with sorrowful eyes. Then exited the car and opened the door for her without a word. They entered the mansion and found company in their siblings, Hazel and Bo.

"You look lovely, Mary." Complimented Bo.

"Aw. Thank you Bo. Don't be so kind." Mary was humble. Mr Macallister took the opportunity to check her out, again. It didn't escape Hazel's eye.

"You look handsome as well, Charles don't get jealous." Hazel joked, slightly wiping his shoulder with her hand. But Mr Macallister seemed distracted.

"Excuse me." Said he and walked away.

"What's up with him?" Asked Hazel.

"Oh, I know what's wrong." Responded Bo, peaking Mary's curiosity. Mary turned in the direction Bo was facing. It was that tall blonde woman again, she had turned and noticed them staring. They all quickly diverted their attention but she had already started walking towards them.

"Bo! How are you? I hear you're married." Her voice was low and feminine.

"Yes I am. This is my beautiful wife." Responded Bo tugging at Hazel's waist and giving her a small kiss on the forehead. The sight warmed Mary's heart.

"Nice to meet you." Greeted Hazel.

"The pleasure is all mine." She smiled before looking at Mary and then diverting her attention as if she wasn't there.

"Oh let me say hi to your aunt." She said and walked away.

"Who is she and why did she look at my sister like that?" Asked Hazel, tugging at Bo's arm.
