Ivy was in shock, she hadn't been careful with Dom these days.

"It could be one of the days I forgot to use my contraceptives."

"What do we do?" Avril said, equally shocked by the news.

"I'll just have to go see him, this will definitely bring him back to his senses."

Avril turned to face the doctor, "can we leave now?"

"Yes you can, just make sure she eats properly and doesn't go through any sort of stress."

As they headed out of the hospital room, Ivy pressed one hand to her belly, "I can't believe I'm carrying Dom's child, this is perfect."

"Is it? He just betrayed you..." Avril reminded her.

"There has to be an explanation, until I see him with my own eyes, I won't believe any of it."

She held her pregnancy test results firmly in her hands, "I'll see you later this evening, I don't have time to waste."

Avril nodded, "just call me and let me know everything that goes down, okay?"

"I surely will."

She booked a taxi ride, "he should still be at work."

The moment she got to the company, she saw a black SUV parked outside. Dom was heading towards it with a flock of security behind him.

"Dominic!" She yelled on top of her voice, trying to catch up with him.

All eyes turned her way.

Right before she reached him, a team of security men held her back.

She noticed for the first time the woman that was latched firmly by his side. She had a look of disgust on her face.

"Ugh, you seem to have many fans here." She said.

"Dom, I need to speak to you! What's going on?!" Ivy burst into tears as the security held her tightly.

Dom stared at her with a straight face and raised one hand in the air causing the security to let her go.

She smiled, "I knew it... He would come to his senses when he sees me."

"Go wait in the car, baby." He turned to the woman by his side before giving her a kiss on her forehead.

Ivy's jaw dropped and all the color washed away from her face, there's no way that just happened.

"Okay baby," the woman said before disappearing.

Dom came closer to Ivy, "Dom, what's happening?" She said in confusion.

"I'm getting married..."

"So it's true?" She had tears welled in her eyes, "what about me? What about us?"

He held her hand and pulled her close, "listen there is no us Ivy, wake up, we could never work, I'm on the top of the chain, we are from completely different classes."

Her tears fell free, "but you knew that three years ago when you kept going after me, how could you do this to me?"

He let go of her, sighed and ran his fingers through his hair, "I'll have my team compensate you for your time."

"My time? Compensate? Dom are you trying to pay me off like I'm a prostitute you fucked?"

He didn't respond.

He turned to leave, but she quickly held his hands, not caring how she looked right now, she began to wail, "Dom please! Don't leave me, we can make this work, I can't do without you..."

"Baby, it's getting late..." The woman in the car said, "what does the woman want ?"

"I'll be right there in a minute sweetheart." He turned back to Ivy, "I have to go now."

He snatched his grip from hers, causing her to stumble backwards, lose her balance and fall to the floor.

As she attempted to get to her feet to follow after him, the security caught her and held her back.

"I don't ever want to see you again..." He warned her before disappearing into the car and zooming off.

Ivy went home shamefully in tears.

"How did it go? What happened?" Avril asked her anxiously.

"He threw me out, he said he never wants to see me again."

Ding!

Her phone beeped, it was a transaction of fifty thousand dollars.

She laughed in sarcasm, "that's all he thinks I'm worth after three years."

She pressed one hand over her belly and continues to sob. Dom is really gone...
