Lan Wangji stood outside Emperor Wei Wúxiàn’s study, his heart pounding. He had requested an audience to apologize for his drunken behavior, feeling the weight of the previous night's kiss pressing heavily on his conscience. The doors opened, and a guard gestured for him to enter.

Wei Wúxiàn sat at his desk, a playful smile tugging on his lips as Lan Wangji approached. “Prince Lan Wangji,” he greeted warmly, “What brings you here today?”

Lan Wangji bowed deeply, his face hidden behind the veil. “Your Majesty, I wish to apologize for my actions last night. I was drunk & behaved inappropriately. I am deeply sorry.”

Wei Wúxiàn’s smile widens, his eyes twinkling with mischief. “Oh, that Kiss,” he mused, tapping his chin thoughtfully. “Yes, I remember it well. It was quite... Something.”

Lan Wangji’s cheeks reddened, but he maintained his bow. “I accept any punishment you deem fit, Your Majesty.”

Wei Wúxiàn leaned back in his chair, pretending to ponder the matter seriously, “Hmm, a punishment, you say? Very well, I have something in mind.”

Lan Wangji straightened, his eyes meeting Wei Wúxiàn’s, he was waiting for the emperor to say something..

Wei Wúxiàn stood and walked around the desk, stopping in front of Lan Wangji. He leaned in close, his breath warm against Lan Wangji’s ear. “I want you to sing for me.”

Lan Wangji took a step back as he blinked, taken aback. “Sing?”

Wei Wúxiàn nodded, a grin spreading across his face. “Yes, sing. I’ve heard tales of your beautiful voice, but I’ve never had the pleasure of hearing it myself.”

Lan Wangji’s blush deepened, but he nodded.  “As you wish, Your Majesty.”

Wei Wúxiàn sat back down, watching with amusement as Lan Wangji took a deep breath, trying to compose himself. The room was silent before Lan Wangji began to sing, his voice soft at first, then growing stronger. It was a simple, yet beautiful melody, filled with emotion.

Wei Wúxiàn listened, captivated by the sound and the site of Wangji itself. He had expected to be amused, but instead, he found himself deeply moved by the purity and grace of Lan Wangji’s voice. When the song ended, there was a brief silence before Wei Wúxiàn spoke,

“Your sweet voice has a way of touching hearts, Lan Wangji. Mine included.”

Lan Wangji bowed his head, his face still flushed. “Your words are too kind, Emperor Wei. I am glad the song pleased you.”

Lan Wangji was about to leave since his punishment was over, but Wúxiàn stopped him.

"Leaving so soon, Lan Wangji? You've only atoned for one kiss, but what about the other six?"Wei Wúxiàn asked, his grin mischievous as he leaned back in his chair, steepling his fingers together in amusement.

Lan Wangji's expression turned skeptical, his eyebrows furrowing as he took a step back, his hands clasped behind him. "I didn't kiss you that many times, Emperor," he said sternly, his voice firm but his eyes held a hint of uncertainty.

Wei Wúxiàn chuckled, his eyes sparkling with mirth as he leaned forward, his elbows on his desk. "Oh, but I recall each and every one of them vividly," he said, his voice dripping with honey "Like the time you kissed my cheek and fled at the Ouyang Clan."

Lan Wangji protested "I never kiss you, the one I Kissed Was —" His words trailed off, The one he kissed was Yaundao gege. Lan Zhan eyes widen How did the emperor know that?
