Hello! Lovely Readers, I'm back with a new chapter! I've missed connecting with you all and sharing new content.

So, I was traveling and it was raining a lot. I saw that everyone enjoys the rain in their own way. I thought it would be interesting, so I decided to write about it. Before I knew it, my chapter became the longest one I've ever written!

I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it!

Please note that updates will be slower than usual for a little while. With the festive season upon us, I appreciate your patience and understanding during this period.

After The confession, the barriers around Wúxiàn's heart disappeared as if they never existed in the first place, the competition was also postponed for few days due to many reasons, The palace was being repaired, the damages caused by the three drunk Lans was too much. His mother was being punished and she hasn't completed even a half of her punishment yet.

He also didn't have to attend the court today because his father took over the responsibility. So Wei Ying could have some time for himself.

Wúxiàn was really grateful to his father. He could spend more time with Lan Zhan and get to know him better.

So, Dressed in the simple garb of a poor farmer, Wei Wúxiàn adjusted the straw hat on his head, making sure it shadowed his face just enough to avoid recognition. Beside him stood Lan Wangji, who had disguised himself as a young woman again. His long hair was styled in a simple yet elegant bun, and he wore a plain, yet tasteful, blue dress. Despite the modest attire, Lan Wangji's natural grace and beauty still shone through.

"Lan Zhan, are you ready for our adventure?" Wei Wúxiàn asked, his eyes twinkling with mischief.

Lan Wangji, looked at Wúxiàn in excitement and nodded. He never though his wish of going on another advantage with Wei Ying would come true so soon. "I am, Wei Ying," he replied, his voice soft but exited. "But are you sure no one will recognize us?"

Wei Wúxiàn grinned, his carefree spirit undimmed. "Trust me, Lan Zhan. No one will suspect a thing."

They slipped out of the palace under the cover of dawn, blending seamlessly into the early morning bustle of Yiling. The market was alive with various activity, vendors calling out their wares and the air filled with the aroma of freshly baked goods and spices.

Their first stop was a market stall selling an assortment of local delicacies. Wei Wúxiàn couldn't resist buying some skewered meat for himself and sweet buns for lan Zhan, He handing one to Wangji with a grin.

"Try this, Lan Zhan. It's delicious!"

Lan Wangji accepted the bun, taking a delicate bite. His eyes widened slightly at the taste, and a small, genuine smile appeared on his lips. "It is very good, Wei Ying."

Wei Wúxiàn chuckled. "See? I told you. There's so much more to enjoy outside the palace."

They wandered through the market, stopping at various stalls. Wei Wúxiàn knew what Lan Zhan's true appetite look like, so he didn't hold back at the food stalls trying our various street food.

Wei Wúxiàn bought a small, hand-carved flute from a street musician, trying out a cheerful tune that had passersby smiling.

Lan Wangji, in turn, was drawn to a booth selling soft and vibrant fabrics, His Omega natural surfacing at the site of beautiful fabric, his fingers brushing over the intricate patterns with appreciation. Wei Wúxiàn brought every fabric His preety Omega touched.
