Aditya POV:
Decked herself in a White Chudithar, She stood beside her mother like an Angel. I started to admire her openly. My mom hugged her and she left the place. Wait! Did she ignore me? I quickly darted outside the kitchen and saw her nowhere. I was about to search for her and here comes my mom asked me to buy some milk. "Appava vanga sollunga!" (Say Daddy to buy milk) I replied and again moved towards her room. "Mama" Next disturbance. I turned towards Rithika.
"Oora suthi paakalama?" (Shall we tour around the village?) Is this important now?
"We'll go in the afternoon" I replied.
I knocked on the room door and got no reply. I slowly disclosed the door searching for her in the room. Seeing her sleeping on the bed, I was disappointed. She might be really tired. Fine! I'll ask her once she gets awake. I made up my mind and went to my room to take a bath. I was walking across the hall to my room when a guy stepped in front of me, blocking my path. I didn't recognize him, so I turned him to face my direction. "Who are you?" I asked with a straight face to which he gave a shocked reaction. Why was he so surprised?
After a long explanation, I finally remembered him. He was my childhood companion whenever I came here. During my childhood days, We came here to spend our summer vacation. At that time, he was my companion and used to guide me about village life and different kinds of food. "Selva?" I cast my mind back to our childhood days. He hugged me and we were laughing at each other. "Okay! I'll take a bath" I said and before taking a step, he held my hands.
"Ooruku vandhutu bathroom la kulikratha? Enkooda va" ( Residing in a village, is it nice to take a bath in the bathroom?)
He made me sit back at his Bullet (Royal Enfield) and drive to the Pond. Actually, I like to take a bath here. "Dive adi macha!" (Dive inside macha) He shouted and I dived into the pond. After taking a bath for an hour, I finally get out of the pond. He gave me a towel and we both dried ourselves. It was really nice. On the other side, My mind was thinking about Mini. What happened to her?
Snapping out of my thoughts, We took the bike and went back home. The house was being decorated by workers there. And my mom and other sisters were offering them Tea and snacks. Flashing a fake smile, I hurried inside the home. Mini was sitting on the swing which is dangled at the centre of the house. Before she talked to me, Rithika asked me to tour around the village by pinching my biceps. "We'll go later ma" I answered nonchalantly.
"Breakfast is ready!" My mom called everyone and we were gathered. We decided to sit on the floor and eat in banana leaf. I sat in a corner so that she could sit beside me. Outstripping Yamini, Rithika came and sat beside me. What the hell? Why did she come here? she seemed preoccupied sitting beside me. She didn't even ask for my consent. I looked at Yamini, sitting beside her father glaring at me.
Aiyo! My mom served the dishes and everyone started to eat. I frowned internally and started to eat. I started with Ashoka Halwa. Woah! Tastes heaven. This is my most favourite dessert. I ate completely and shifted to the main dishes. A hand crossing my Banana leaf, Kept a handful of Halwa. I turned my left to see Rithika.
"Ungaluku pudikum la" (Since you like it) Her smile was really weird, and I couldn't figure out what she was trying to do. It was like she was trying to say something without actually saying it. Maybe I'm overthinking! Coz, It's not new for me. After completing a heavy tasty breakfast with six tastes of food, I washed my hands and looked for a towel to wipe them. Rithika offered me her Dupatta. "It's okay! No need" I politely refused and left the place.
Every member of the family was talking and chatting. One of my cousins who is older than me was discussing the share market and stocks with the other cousin. My two sisters were sitting at the kitchen table, happily stringing flowers together to make a garland. They were so engrossed in their work that they didn't even notice me come into the room. I stood there for a few minutes, just watching them work. They were having so much fun that I didn't want to disturb them. I saunter back to the hall and see Yamini and Rithika talking with each other. Seems like Yamini doesn't like Rithika. So as me. I went and sat among them.
"Come on everyone! We'll go to our farm" My Dad called and everyone was ready to visit the farm. They eagerly came and stood before him. "Yamini took a tablet for her headache. So, I'll take her to the farm once she wakes up" Her mom said and My brain illuminated a light inside my head. "I have a meeting online that I have to go to right away. It'll take about an hour. I'll bring Yamini with me when I come back from the meeting. You can go now, Akka" I uttered in a casual tone not to get caught by them. They've left the house and now it's me and my mini.
As I didn't want to disturb her sleep, I was waiting in the hall by sitting on the swing. After a while, She was rubbing her eyes walking towards the hall. I grabbed her wrist and pulled her towards me. She kept her hands above my chest and looked at me with a befuddled face. Cute! "Mama" She called and I hushed her by placing my forefinger on her lips.
"Madam Kandukavey matringa?" (Why don't you even look at me, Madam?) I asked to which she tried to say something but ended up blabbering. "Tell me the truth. Why you're avoiding me?" I asked to which she bent her head down seeing her lap. I raised her face by holding her chin. She has a chin dimple which adds extra cuteness to her.
"I saw Nancy Akka posted stories on Instagram showing that she was with you and your friend. Yet you told me that you were busy those days and didn't have time to go out. Did you make up an excuse to avoid me? If so, why?" She asked with a little pout, intertwining her fingers. I just want to kiss that seducing lips of hers. Control Aditya! She is being possessive!
"Also, I saw those things happening between Rithika and You since morning" She added and I confirmed that it's her possessiveness flourishing out from her. "I was at an event where I accidentally met Nancy. At that time, she took a photo with me and uploaded it" I explained to her in a soft tone, rubbing her thumb with my thumb. "Ohh" She mouthed and nodded her head. "And about Rithika, I don't know what she's thinking. Can't you see that I'm avoiding her?" I asked to which she simply blinked at me.
After explaining to her about my side, I successfully convinced her. Shall I kiss her? But without her consent, I shouldn't! Shall I propose to her? But, I didn't even have a ring with me. Also, the jewelry shop is about 15 kilometers from this village. But, I don't wanna miss this moment. When she was about to bestir the swing, I pulled her towards me. She fell above me and I held her waist not to leave her from the swing.
Her chest crashed into mine and she was gulping hard, looking at me. A smile took over my lips as I saw her Chudithar top didn't provide justice in hiding her front. Her exposed cleavage just turned me with some other thoughts. As soon as she noticed me shamelessly seeing her, She tried to erect herself but failed as I tightened my grip. She broke the eye contact and wandered her eyes around the house and I was admiring her in this position. No! I don't have shame!
As soon as we heard Muthu Anna's voice from the entrance, I left her and she got down from the swing adjusting her top which helped my eyes to have a visual treat.
