Chapter 2

Sunghwa settled into the car, followed by Chanyeol. In the driver's seat sat a guy with long black hair, while a blonde guy with equally long hair occupied the passenger seat. Chanyeol began playing with the black-haired guy's hair, addressing him as "Hyunho Hyung" and asking about his day with a pout.

Hyunho sighed, responding, "It was just okay..." Chanyeol then turned to the blonde guy, Yujin, and inquired about his day. Yujin replied, "It was good."

As Chanyeol continued to play with Hyunho's hair, a brief moment of tension arose when Hyunho stole a glance at Yujin, quickly averting his gaze when caught. Yujin then placed his hand on Hyunho's thigh, eliciting a push away from Hyunho, who sternly stated, "Don't touch me." Yujin scoffed and turned his attention to Sunghwa, asking for his name.

With a smile, Chanyeol introduced Sunghwa as their new doctor. Yujin whistled in response, teasingly suggesting that he had a stomach ache and asking Sunghwa to check on him. Hyunho, with a look of disgust, glanced at Yujin. Chanyeol giggled, poking Hyunho's cheek and asking, "Why this face, Hyung?"

After a lengthy drive, they pulled up in front of a modern big  mansion. Hyunho and Yujin disembarked first, with Hyunho courteously holding the door open for Sunghwa and Chanyeol. Chanyeol nodded in acknowledgment as Yujin and Hyunho reentered the car and drove away.

Guiding Sunghwa inside, Chanyeol informed him, "Mr. Jaehyun will arrive soon." Sunghwa nervously nodded, anxiously biting his bottom lip. Chanyeol escorted Sunghwa to the living room, offering him a seat. After a few minutes, Chanyeol left the mansion, leaving Sunghwa alone.

With a surge of determination, Sunghwa rose from his seat and hurried towards the front door, intending to leave. However, his plans were halted when he saw Jaehyun standing before him.

"Why are you leaving?" Jaehyun questioned, wrapping his hands around Sunghwa's waist. He whispered into Sunghwa's ear, "Don't you want to catch up after such a long time?"

Sunghwa attempted to free himself, but Jaehyun's grip was firm. "Come on, I won't bite... we'll just have a small conversation, hm?" Jaehyun persuaded, leading Sunghwa back to the living room and forcing him to sit on the couch.

Sunghwa glanced around, feeling lost in the moment. Jaehyun's voice cut through the silence, remarking, "You've changed a lot... and finding out you're a doctor left me utterly surprised." Sunghwa kept his gaze firmly fixed on the ground, nervously tapping his leg. Suddenly, Jaehyun's hand gripped Sunghwa's chin, lifting it forcefully to meet his gaze. "You know I hate it when you put on this facade of shyness and innocence, when in reality, you're a fucking whore." Jaehyun stated bluntly.

Sunghwa's heart raced with nerves, pounding against his chest. "The past is just that... I'm not the same person I was three years ago," he replied, attempting to maintain his composure. Jaehyun scoffed dismissively, refusing to accept Sunghwa's words. "But deep down, you still are," he countered firmly, his tone unwavering.

Slowly, Sunghwa began to rise from his seat, hoping to put an end to the conversation. However, before he could utter another word, Jaehyun forcefully pulled him back down. "You'll leave when I decide," Jaehyun asserted firmly, his grip tightening, leaving Sunghwa with no choice but to comply.

His grayish-green eyes focused on Sunghwa as he sat down on the other side of the table. He moved with elegance, poise and power. He didn’t smile or even allow a bit of comforting warmth as he stared. His black hair framed his slightly tanned face perfectly, his eyes glancing down at the watch on his wrist.

“So you must know why you’re here?” he hummed coldly. “I suggest not lying. It’s boring for me and it won’t go well for you. Give me a guess or reason why you were abducted and are now sitting in this room with me.”
