A/N: Hello my lovelies! Thank you for your positive feedback, I was honestly worried that I was the only one on Train Perfect. If you read the title, then you'll know that like half of this chapter is an Over Your Head teas. If you read Over Your Head, then this chapter might be a little familiar *insert winky face here*

Chapter 7

I went over the steps in my head.

Be inviting; flirt with him, laugh at his jokes, smile.

Well, WikiHow, I had approximately 1 minute until we got to his car, so that would only happen if given the opportunity.

Break the touch barrier; touch him lightly on the arm or shoulder while you're talking.

"Are you sure? You seem, nervous," Scott informed me.

I reached up and placed my hand on his shoulder as I laughed. Once he looked at me weirdly, I pulled my hand away, but continued laughing awkwardly, "You are so funny. Why would I be nervous?" I inquired in an over-exaggerated tone. I was embarrassing myself so much that I was beginning to panic.

"I don't know, I don't understand your reasoning for most things," he informed me.

This wasn't going as planned.

Look at his lips.

He was too tall, it would just look like I'm trying to talk to him. Thanks WikiHow, you let me down.

Draw attention to your lips.

We stopped at his car and he looked down at me.

"Well I'm not nervous, I can tell you that," I blurted out before looking up at him and lightly biting my lip.

That was the one attractive thing I could do.

"Ok well, here's my car. And I have to get to work," he informed me blatantly.

Linger.

I nodded, "That's cool...that you have a job," I stated as I tried leaning against his car, but pulled away since it was about 100 degree metal, awkwardly placing my hand on my hip.

"Yeah..." he replied, clearly uncomfortable, "Well, I'll see you tomorrow," he stated as he reached for his door handle.

No no no no no no. He wasn't following my mental script.

Damn him.

Move in.

"Yup, see you tomorrow," I stated slowly as I took a step forward.

He narrowed his eyes at me, "What're you doing?" He inquired.

I shook my head, "I don't know what you're talking about," I replied, before rolling my eyes at his eyebrow-raise, "I'm trying to get you to kiss me," I informed him in a whiny tone.

He chuckled and nodded, "Ah. Well, your efforts are cute, but knowing your usual convoluted motives, it's probably for a completely different reason than what I had in mind," he quipped before opening his car door and sliding in.

I turned and looked in his window, "So you won't kiss me?" I inquired in an offended tone.

"We'll talk about this tomorrow, ok? I don't have time to explain it to you right now, I'd be here all day. See ya later Mitch," he stated before starting up his car.

I sighed and backed away from his car and watched him drive off. I rolled my eyes before storming off to my car to invite myself over to Kirstie's. I needed girl-talk time.
