A/N: Hello my lovelies! Sorry for not updating last night, but I went to the county fair yesterday and it made me nauseous and tired, so I was too gross feeling to update. But here you go, a new chapter. Prepare to roll your eyes at Mitch a little extra in this one.
First can we discuss all of the nice comments I'm getting. You guys are so nice, and I read every single comment and get emotional over most of them. Thank you guys for being so sweet, it really means a lot. I'm so sappy omg carry on with the story.
Chapter 10
After eating some delicious pizza, I drove Scott back home. "Good luck with your parents," I commented.
"They're accepting of just about anything, should be fine. They're just gonna wanna hear all of the details," he explained.
I nodded, "Well, I'll see you tomorrow. Do you need a ride to school or do you think you'll be able to fix your car?" I inquired.
"Uh, I'll text you in the morning," he replied.
I smiled, "Ok. Thanks for the Spongebob ice cream," I stated, and he smiled back.
"Thanks for agreeing to be my boyfriend," he countered as he leaned in.
I smiled again before leaning in as well and kissing him. I never thought I'd be one to enjoy kissing so much, but hey, we all have our vice.
I pulled away and bit my lip, making me chuckle and kiss my forehead, before saying goodbye again and exiting the car.
Once he was gone, I smiled widely to myself. Who knew how great my life could be without a schedule?
Yet it was still somehow perfect.
...
Before lunch period started, I was heading towards the cafeteria, but something caught my attention. There was a showcase in the hallway. There was a poster that read "September Birthdays" in big gold letters.
What caught my attention was the name Scott Hoying with the date September 17th. Today was September 15th.
Why hadn't he mentioned that his birthday was in two days? I needed to get him something.
"I can already tell that you're gonna make a big deal out of it," Scot stated as he appeared at my side, putting his arm around my waist.
"It's your birthday, and as your boyfriend, I'm gonna make a big deal out of it," I retorted.
"We've been dating for less than 24 hours. It feels weird to rely on you to get me something," he explained.
"Well, I've known you since we were in kindergarten, so it's not like we're complete strangers," I reminded him.
"True. Whatever. Do what you want. I'm not gonna turn down a gift," he assured me before ushering me away from the showcase.
"Good," I replied before smiling up at him.
"Is it okay if I sit with you and Kirstie?" He inquired as we entered the cafeteria.
"Of course," I assured him.
"Ok, I'm gonna go get lunch. I'll meet you over there," he stated before pulling his arm away from me.
I smiled and looked over my shoulder at him as I walked towards our table.
Tips for surviving high school: Always watch where you're walking.
My attention was forced on the situation in front of me as I felt something collide with my body. I gasped at the feeling of a hot liquid pouring all over me, along with other food of some kind.
