I got inside and stood by the door to text Bradley and let him know I was here. Out of the corner of my eye, I thought I saw Diego for a second and my attention averted from my phone. I lifted up my head to look for him but didn't see Diego anywhere.

I looked around for a moment to see the house. It was pretty big, definitely bigger than my house. I assumed it had at least three stories and a ton of bedrooms, maybe even a pool too.

“Hey, Mason!” I slightly jumped, startled by the sudden calling of my name. I looked to see Bradley was there, weaving through the tons of people to get to me. I smiled and pocketed my phone before turning to him.

“Hey, Bradley.” I greeted him and he hugged me and gave me a kiss on the cheek. See, I knew he'd be a lot more forward in person.

“C'mon, let's hang out in there.” He shifted his head to point towards a different room before he grabbed my hand to lead me in there. “We've got drinks and candy and chips in here too.” He told me as he led me to the room.

We got in there and he motioned for me to sit down so I did. He sat next to me, wrapped his arm around me and handed me a drink. One of those red plastic cups you'd expect at a teenage party.

Bradley took a sip from his own drink then began kissing my neck just a bit. I thought it was a little weird, I just got here and he was already all over me. “Jeez Brad, give him some space.” Someone told him and he got off. “Sorry Mason. It's just been so long since I've seen you. You look so cute.”

I giggled at him and nodded my head. “Thanks Bradley.” I leaned my head on his shoulder and took a sip of the drink he gave me. It tasted bitter, probably beer. A few of Bradley's friends soon joined us and the conversation flowed easily. Bradley was very touchy but I didn't mind.

We drank and talked and really just did whatever for hours. I guess I was having a lot of fun. Once there were just a few people left in the room, Bradley tapped me on the shoulder and whispered in my ear. “Hey, Mason, how about we just ditch them and go upstairs for a bit?” He asked, his hand resting on my thigh.

Finally the moment I'd been waiting for the whole night, the whole reason I was here in the first place. “Took you long enough. Let's go.” I got up, taking my drink with me and he followed along. He got ahead of me, leading me upstairs to an unoccupied room.

He locked the door, turned around, and was on me in seconds. Kissing, touching, pulling at my clothes. I responded with the same hunger, pulling off his shirt and bringing him to the bed. He took my hoodie and shirt off and touched all over me, grabbing and groping, a little awkward too.

He got on top of me, pining me to the bed. “You're so hot.” He whispered to me. I giggled in response and wrapped my fingers in his hair, pulling him to me. “Oh, Bradley, you need a condom.” I reminded him but he just shook his head and chuckled. “No we don't. I wanna plant my hot seed in you and make you bear my babies. Don't you want that, babygirl?”

Oh my god, he's disgusting. Never in my life had I heard someone say something like that. I thought people only talked like that in weird smutty books. “Okay. Get off, Bradley.” I lightly pushed him off and he gave me a look of confusion. “What? What's wrong?” “I'm not gonna sit here and act like you didn't just say that.” I told him, getting up from the bed and grabbing my shirt and hoodie.

“What?! You can't just do that. We were literally gonna have sex, you're ruining the mood, Mason.” I scoffed at him and put my shirt on. I'm not just gonna have sex with someone that'll say that kinda shit. Sorry to break it to you, Bradley, but that was a total turn off.” I unlocked the door and stepped out.

“Yea, no one wants to fuck you anyway!” He called from the room as I shut the door. I let out a sigh of relief, just dodged a bullet, I suppose. I stood in the hallway for a minute trying to get my thoughts together. I knew I was probably a bit drunk by now and I could feel a headache coming.

I felt like crying, but for what? Bradley was just another stupid guy that can't think about anything but naked girls. Even in bed with a boy he couldn't keep those thoughts away. I just wanted to go home now. I can't believe I spent months talking to some douche bag. He probably lied about being into guys.

I took a deep breath in and went back down stairs to finally leave this stupid party. I wasn't looking and accidentally bumped into someone's back. “Oh, sorry. Excuse me.” I began apologizing as the person turned around. “Oh no, it's fine- Oh, Mason!” It was Diego. Of course he recognized me. This was a horrible time to be drunk and sad.

“Oh, Diego.” I sighed. “Uhm, I was just leaving so…” I stepped out of the way when he suddenly grabbed my hand and I looked back at him. “Wait…uh, I…want you to stay.” It felt like my heart had stopped. I felt so bad about what happened with Bradley but I felt something good, hearing Diego say that.

“What? Just leave me alone, I gotta go.” I jerked my hand away from him and he easily let go. “Hang on, Mason…I need you to understand something.” He told me and I glared at him. “God, what do you want? I'm tired and I'm trying to get home.”

He sighed and looked me in the eyes. “You're drunk. I'll drive you home.” He grabbed my hand and started walking me out. I noticed he didn't say bye to anyone, he must've been just standing around with no one to talk to. I sighed and let him lead me outside to the yard.

I didn't argue any further. I knew I wasn't in any state to be driving and even though I didn't fully trust Diego, I knew he'd be out of his mind to drive me anywhere but home. “Diego, what about my car?” “I'll take you to pick it up in the morning. Don't worry about it.” He reassured me. I rolled my eyes and we continued walking to his car.

We got there and he helped me get in before he went to the driver's seat. I crossed my arms and sat with a pout as he started the car. “Sorry for the mess, it's my dad's car, so-” “Why are you doing this?” I interrupted him.

He stuttered a bit as he processed the question. “Well…you're drunk and I wanna make sure you get home alright.” He told me and I shook my head. “I could get anyone to drive me home. Why are you doing it?” “Because I don't want anyone to take advantage of you.” I thought he was done there but he kept going.

“I saw you hanging out with some guy earlier and you seem mad now so…I assumed things didn't go well. And I want to make sure you're okay.” And then he was done talking, just staring at me, waiting for a response.

“I…I'm better now. Thanks, I guess.” I turned away from him, I don't want him to think I like him or anything. “Alright. Let's get you home now.” And with that, he began driving me back home.
