Just like I had planned, I woke up early from my alarm. It took a few minutes for me to actually get out of bed though, I almost fell back asleep. I started with cleaning up my room a bit, then I went to feed Maverick and let him outside in the backyard. While I was out in the house I cleaned up a bit more around the kitchen, dining room, and the living room.
Then I took a shower, brushed my teeth and hair, and changed clothes, all to make myself presentable enough. Soon my mom texted me, asking what Diego would want for dinner. I don't really know what he'd want for dinner, I guess we don't talk about food much. So I texted Diego and asked what he wants.
All he said was that he'd eat anything and that he doesn't have any allergies. I told my mom and she settled on making spaghetti for dinner. I love spaghetti, I hope Diego does too. Now I have time to wait for Diego to get here so I decided to just do some daily stretches.
I try my best to stay flexible, I don't do these stretches every day, but I try to. I'm even more flexible than most of the other figure skaters at my school. Once I'm done with that, it's almost time for Diego to get here. So I went and told Micah that he's almost here.
I'm so excited for him to get here, we don't spend a lot of time together outside of school, so this will definitely be special. Not only is he gonna meet my family, but he's also staying the night.
And soon, he's finally here. I hear a knock on the door, and open it to see Diego. “Diego! Hii.” I greet him with a hug. He chuckles and wraps his arms around me as well, hugging me back. “Hey.” I look up and smile at him before moving out of our embrace to let him inside. He takes a second to look around, admiring the many qualities of my home.
“Do you wanna go to my room?” I ask him, locking my fingers with his. “Sure.” He nods his head and I drag him along with me to my room. On the way there, we passed by my mom's room and I let her know that he's here now. She soon left her room to get started on dinner.
Me and Diego entered my room, I shut the door behind us and let him take a look around. “Wow, your room looks a lot more cozy than mine.” He says as he walks around, now looking at my desk. “Are you saying that because it's smaller than yours?” I ask with a tilt of my head, my eyebrow raised in suspicion.
I know that Diego comes from a richer background than me. And even if I've never been to his house, he has told me the street he lives on and I know the houses there are pretty expensive. Even his clothes are of higher quality than mine, and his hockey equipment always looks new and clean as well. So of course his room would probably look better and bigger than mine.
“Of course not, your room looks comfy, easy to rest in.” He explained it to me. I nodded my head and watched as he finished observing my room. “Oh, Maverick is outside, you want me to go get him?” “Maverick's your dog right?” I nod my head then he nods as well. “Alright. You get comfy while I go get him.” I tell him before exiting the room.
I make my way through the house and to the back door where Maverick waits for me. I giggle at him and open the door to let him back inside the house. He circles around me then makes his way towards the kitchen where my mom is cooking the spaghetti. “Is dinner almost ready?” I ask her as I enter the kitchen, leaning on the counter next to her. “Yep, probably just about 20 more minutes and it'll be done.” I nod my head before finally getting back to my room with Maverick.
Maverick enters my room first, immediately going up to where Diego's sitting at my desk. “Oh, hiii.” He greets Maverick, petting him on the head. “Do you have any pets?” I ask, sitting down on the edge of my bed to be closer. “I have a few cats but I've always been more of a dog person.” He glances at me then back to Maverick as he says this.
He just keeps getting better. Maybe someday when we're definitely married, we'll have dogs of our own. “Good. I'm allergic to cats.” I tell him with a chuckle. “Oh, my mom said dinner will be ready in about 20 minutes.” He nods his head and stands up from his place at my desk, choosing to sit next to me on my bed instead. Maverick was obviously sad, probably because he wasn't getting his full attention anymore.
“What will we do until then?” He asks me, innocently fluttering his eyelashes. “Well, what do you wanna do?” I ask, wrapping my arms around his bicep. He lets out a chuckle and rests a hand on my cheek. But then he suddenly reaches down and lifts me up, pulling me back and down on the bed. He falls back on the bed and I go with him, pulled on top of him, his arms now resting around my waist.
Maverick must have found something in my room to entertain himself because for the next several minutes me and Diego were just making out, unbothered by Maverick. His hands rested firmly on my hips, my arms wrapped around his neck with my fingers tied in his hair. Our lips intertwined, our tongues exploring each other's mouth's.
Suddenly I hear a knock on the door and the voice of my mom telling us dinner's ready. And with that, our lips pull apart as I sit up, still straddling Diego. “Ah, you hungry?” I look down at him and tuck a strand of hair behind my ear. He laughs a bit, nods his head and I let out a small giggle.
We ended up going out into the kitchen a few minutes later. I greeted my family and me and Diego got our own plates of the spaghetti before going back to my room to eat. I guessed he'd prefer to eat alone in my room instead of dealing with my overbearing mother and chatty younger siblings.
It's his first time being around my family after all, I don't want him to get overwhelmed from meeting so many new people so fast. So we sat on the floor, not my bed just in case, and watched a movie while we ate.
