shivering, throwing up, bleeding everywhere. what happened to me. I blanked out. It felt like someone was grabbing me by the throat, choking me. I was gasping for air, using all my might to call out for someone but no one could hear me.

my body was in agony. Charlotte screamed and turned me over, tears streaming down her face, she was distraught and didn't know what to do.
"Swe-ethh-eart, ambulance" i choked out
Charlotte ran out of the room, calling the emergency services.
Charlotte's perspective
As Charlotte ran out of the room, her heart pounded in her chest, the sound of her own panicked breath echoing in her ears. She fumbled with her phone, struggling to dial 911 as tears blurred her vision. Each second felt like an eternity as she tried to convey the urgency of the situation to the operator on the other end of the line.
"Hello, 911, what's your emergency?" the dispatcher's voice crackled through the phone.
"My girlfriend, she's... she's unconscious, bleeding... please, send an ambulance!" Charlotte managed to gasp out between sobs, her voice trembling with fear and desperation.
"Ma'am, stay calm. Can you tell me your address?" the dispatcher asked, her tone steady and reassuring.
Charlotte relayed the address as quickly as she could, her hands shaking uncontrollably. She turned back toward the bedroom, where her girlfriend lay motionless on the floor. She knelt beside her, gently brushing her hair back from her clammy forehead.
"Babe, hang on," she whispered, her voice trembling. "Help is on the way."
Time seemed to stretch endlessly as Charlotte waited for the ambulance to arrive. She checked on Mia's pulse, praying for any sign of life. Her breathing was shallow and ragged, each breath a painful reminder of how fragile life could be.
When she heard the wail of sirens in the distance, relief flooded through her, though it was tempered by the lingering fear of the unknown. She rushed outside to flag down the paramedics, guiding them to the bedroom where her girlfriend lay.
As they took over, Charlotte hovered anxiously nearby, her hands clasped tightly together in silent prayer. She watched as they worked swiftly and efficiently, administering first aid and preparing her for transport to the hospital.
"Is she going to be okay?" Charlotte asked, her voice trembling as she sought reassurance from the paramedics.
"We're doing everything we can," one of them replied gently, their voice calm yet tinged with concern.
Charlotte nodded, her gaze never leaving Mia's pale face. She squeezed her hand, willing for her to wake up, to come back to her.
In the chaotic blur of flashing lights and urgent voices, Charlotte held onto hope, clinging to the belief that they would get through this together. As they loaded her into the ambulance and sped away, she whispered a silent promise to herself and to him:
"I'll be right here when you wake up. I love you."
