She walks in pulling two huge bags on wheels, she steps through the door looking all around at the kerfuffle

I'm your date for the ball silly
She steps forward and wraps her arms around Wednesday. Wednesday doesn't move but allows Enid to hold her for a moment
WEDNESDAY
What? Why? How? Did my mother call you?
ENID
The other day you accidentally voice messaged me the conversation you were having with your mother. I hated the idea of you going alone to a ball and your mother said she didn't care who you brought so... ta da!
They both stand in silence
ENID
Please don't be mad. Surely I'm better than some blind date your Mom has set for you?
WEDNESDAY
A world better. Thank you for coming
A figure emerges from behind them, Enid looks up and smiles
ENID
Mrs Addams! I hope you don't mind me intruding! Wednesday has asked me to accompany her to the ball tomorrow night...

Not at all! That's wonderful news. It's a pleasure to have you Enid, please let Lurch take your bags and help you get settled
Enid hands her bags to Lurch and shoots Wednesday a huge smile
