Tracy yelled at me for a good twenty minutes once I got inside.

In the end, I told her to fuck off and mind her own damn business - excuse my language.

She told me that she was going to tell Millie and I smacked her in the face.

""What the hell?!"

"Why would you tell Millie about this?! It isn't any of her business!" I yell as she's holding her cheek.

"Because! Millie deserves to know Jack is a fucking man whore who likes to mess around with my sist-"

"Shut the hell up, Tracy! God - you're such a shitty sister it blows my mind."

"Look who's talking! You're hooking up with your sister's, best friend's boy!"

"We aren't hooking up! And Jack doesn't have a girlfriend, dumb ass! He isn't Millie's boy! She's too stupid to see that."

Now it was her turn to slap me across the face - but she hits like little bitch.

"Don't say that about her! She likes him a lot!"

"Then why didn't he invite her to the lake earlier? Huh? Why did he ditch his date to come comfort me at prom? Tracy- he's using her!"

"And he's not using you?" She snaps back and I can't find a comeback.

This instantly made me feel stupid for saying such things when I could possibly be in the same position.

She stole all the words from mouth.

"Got nothing to say, huh?" She breathes and I glare at her.

"Shut the fuck up."

"You know he's using you, yet you still-"

"God damn it, I said shut up!" I slap her again just as the front door swings open.

"Bitch!" Tracy yells and I look over at my mom and dad, coming in the house with shocked expressions.

"What is going on here?" My mom gasps when she notices our red cheeks and throbbing hands.

"Your daughter's a slut! That's what's going on!" Tracy shouts and storms upstairs.

She called me a slut too, and it hurt the most coming from her.

"Excuse me?" My dad says and looks at me hard.

"She's being over dramatic, I-"

"Why is she calling you those foul words?" My mom asks and shuts the door.

"I don't-"

"Bullshit, Marina, tell us the truth."

"She's on her period, I-I don't know!" I'm such a terrible liar under pressure, and I really wish I wasn't.

My dad sighs and my mom puts her hands on her hips, "why is your cheek red?"

"She slapped me, but I did it to her too."

"Go upstairs, we're going to have a big talk about this later." My dad hisses and I oblige, trudging up the staircase and into my room.

My sister's a bitch.

Monday

7:30 am

"Hello." Jack says as soon as I lock my car.

"Holy shit, you scared me." I laugh and he smiles at me.

"Sorry," He puts his arm around me and pulls me closer to his side, "I'm just really quiet I guess."

"I guess so." I shrug as we enter the school.

"How was your night?"

"Horrible, Tracy and I got into a huge fight and now my parents said we're going to have a 'family meeting' once we all get home tonight, and-" I loudly groan, "I'm getting a headache even talking about this."

"I'm sorry." He squeezes my shoulder and kisses my temple.

(ahhh they're so cute, guys)

"It's fine, it'll blow over eventually." I comment and we arrive at my locker, seeing Hunter standing right in front of it.

"I need to talk to you." He says, avoiding eye contact with Jack.

"About?"

"Stuff."

"Okay." I shrug and he stays quiet for a moment.

"Alone."

Jack's grip gets a little tighter on me and I look up at him.

"I'll see you in fourth period, Gilinsky." I forcefully smile at him to let him know it's okay.

"Alright." He mumbles and walks away, without saying anything else.

"What is it?" I cross my arms and stare at him.

"Are we over? Like are we broken up?"

"Yeah, it was over the second I said no and you didn't respect it.

"Look, I'm sor-"

"I don't care if you're sorry, it's not okay and I'm not going to forgive you for it."

He lets out an annoyed sigh and leans back on the lockers, "I just got a little too excited because-"

"You were tired of waiting for your 'prude girlfriend'? Makes sense." I sarcastically nod.

"Marina, what am I supposed to do? We were dating for almost a year and hadn't done it yet. All my friend's girlfriend's give it up after, like, two weeks."

"Sorry I'm not going to 'give it up' to someone who doesn't take no for an answer." I state and walk away down the hall, to P.E.

He's such an asshole.

8:00 am

I groan walking into the gym, looking for Sammy. I instantly spot him across the room, talking to one of Tracy's friends. Great.

"That's just what Tracy told me." The girl said and stopped talking as soon as I walked up. "I'll talk to you later, Sam." She mumbles and hurries away to her group of friends.

"Who was that?" I ask and step in front of him.

"Uh, that was Georgia. Hey," He scratches the back of his neck, "is it true that you and Jack-"

"What?" I say rather quickly.

"Never mind, we should probably go play the game." He quickly walks towards the bin to grab us both racquets.

"Sam?" I lowly question and walk up behind him. "What was that girl talking about?"

"Uh, nothing." He shakes his head and hands me my racquet.

"Sammy." I say again and he pretends not to hear me, walking over to the net to play tennis.

I already knew she was talking about me, he brought up Jack and she said something about my sister talking to her.

"Sam, I-"

"You can serve the ball." He interrupts and hands me a bright green tennis ball.

I sigh and give up on asking him anything else, grabbing it from his hand and hitting it over the net.
