Lexi got up early the next morning a began training in The Pit on her own with a punching bag.
Four was surprised he wasn't the first one in The Pit but he wasn't surprised that it was her to be the first one here.
Four watched as she let her anger out on the punching bag and she looked perfect to him and it scared him. He doesn't let people make him feel this way about them but for Lexi, he couldn't help but make an exception.
Later at target practice, Lexi was shooting perfectly as normal and she looks over to Will and he finally shoots the dummy target right in the head.
Will quickly turns to Lexi with a shocked expression. "Yes, Will! You did it." Lexi smiles which Will returns as they laugh some more and Four felt that same burning sensation in his chest as he did earlier.
Four just wants Lexi all to himself. He doesn't share either.

Lexi and Peter ran towards the board pushing and shoving each other to get there first.
"Oh, yeah! In your face! In your stupid looking face!" Lexi cheered as she saw her name at #1 a Peter's at #3.
"Okay. It's on." Peter playfully rold his eyes as Lexi danced around him.
"I'm better. Who's better? I'm better." Lexi said kinda in a sing-song way
"Whatever, shorty."
"Okay, you really needa stop calling me that. It just makes you look stupid and weak because you're being beaten by someone smaller than you." Lexi smirked.
"Alright... Shorty." Peter smirked as he walked away.

Lexi's now at the same punching bag she was this morning, the only difference was that everyone else was in The Pit to.
Lexi punched and fought the punching bag stopping for a second to look down at her knuckles which were all bruised and scratched but she still went back to fight the punching bag. Lexi didn't care. She had a goal to be the best and that's what she was doing, whether it hurt her or not.
"You know you're not really giving me anything to work with here." Four said with crossed arms crossed as he approached Lexi. She tried not to acknowledge him so she wouldn't get so distracted. "For such a small thing, you're pretty strong and look to know what you're doing. Definitely not how someone from your original faction should be."
Lexi still didn't look away from what she is doing but she did finally answer. "Yeah, I've had some help." She said as she grunted when she hit the punching bag.
Lexi somehow seemed to have let her core loose while practicing for so long and that was the one thing Four could find wrong. "Keep tension here." He said walking around her and placing his hand on her core and moving it finally making Lexi stop and look up at him.
'Oh, I'm hard!' Lexi thought as she felt Four's hand snake around her stomach to move her.
"Okay..." Lexi nodded.
"And go on offense. You're fast, so you win when you attack first." Lexi looked up at him once more and he never looked away from her until Eric called his name, that's when he finally let go of her waist. "Keep up the good work." Four said just before walking away for Lexi.
Lexi turned around when she saw Will on the ground after him and Al fought.
"Will! Oh my god. Are you okay?" Lexi asked rushing over to Will, helping him up with Al and taking him to the infirmary.
"Sorry about that Will." Al said as they walked away with Will.
"All right, let's everyone take a break!" Lexi heard Eric call out from The Pit.
"Will, you'll be okay right?" Lexi asked holding his hand as he laid on the bed in the infirmary.
"Yeah, I'll be good. You should get back out there." Will said with a small smile.
"Okay." Lexi smiled back as she let go of his hand and walked out.
Eric had brought the group through a tunnel and to a metal bridge over a canyon.
Cristina and Eric walked it the front and his hand slid around her waist making Lexi and Tris give each other a questioning look.
"You feelin' a little better?" Eric asks Cristina as they start to walk over the small metal bridge.
"Yeah, I'm fine." Just then Eric threw her off the bridge only holding onto her by one of her hands and the other one latched onto the metal bridge.
'Oh my fuck god. This guy is crazy.' Lexi thought as she tried to walk up and help Cristina but someone pulled her back by her wrist. It was Four and he was shaking his head 'no' and for her to not do anything. Lexi took a deep breathe as Four let go of her wrist.
"Grab the rail." Eric said to Cristina. "Or don't." He let go of her hand so now both of her hands were on the rail and she was struggling to keep up her body weight.
"You've got three options. Hang there and I'll forgive your cowardice. Fall and die. Or give up. But if you give up, you're out." Eric said as Cristina struggled.
"Come on, Crist!" Tris spoke out and Eric gave her a dirty look.
"Time!" Eric called out after a couple seconds and Lexi and another boy went to go help her up. Christina stumbled into Lexi's arms, panting then sobbing as Eric spoke.
"Dauntless never give up."

Everyone's now in a train as Four spoke. "As Dauntless, we fight to protect every life inside the fence, without fail. That's why we train you the way we do. To teach you not to give up. And to find out who has what it takes. Even though it's been quite out there for years, that could change at any moment. So we have to be ready for everything." Four says and the train comes to a stop near the fence and Dauntless jog out.
They all walk up the stairs of the fence and to the top of the fence overlooking the Amity fields making Lexi's breath get caught as she remembers Amity.
"What's out there?" Tris asks.
"Monsters." Lexi says looking into the fields where her father works.
"Amity farms." Al states, turning to look at Tris.
"No, i know. But beyond that?"
"Places that never recovered from the war." Will says.
"Do you know?" Tris turns to Four as he stands next to her.
"Let's just say they built their fence for a reason."
'Four. That was a terrible answer but it's okay since you're hot.'
