"Please, sit down." Jeanine said as her and Lexi walked into an open room with two chairs across from each other. They both sat down. "I'm glad you came here today."
"You are?"
"Are you happy with your new faction?"
"Yeah." Lexi nodded, trying to keep the answers short.
"But you came to see Caleb Prior."
"I just... I just wanted to talk to him. He's my best friend."
"How'd you guys meet? I mean, you both are from different factions."
Lexi thought back to when Caleb and her met. They were both 6 and Lexi was asked to go into the city and pick up something that her family needed while Caleb and his family were in the city to help the factionless.

Five year old Lexi walked around the city not exactly knowing where to go or really why she was the one that had to go into the city alone at such a young age but none the less, did as told.
Caleb had wandered away from his family to go find other factionless to help when he saw the lost girl.
"Hey, are you lost?" The slightly taller boy asked Lexi.
"Uhh..." Lexi thought as she looked around a little the looked back at the boy. "I don't know."
"I can help you. I'm Caleb." He smiled.
"I'm Alexis but only my family can call me that so you have to pick something else."
"Okay! Lexington."
Lexi gave him a questioning look. "Really?" She giggled.
"Yes."
"We're going to be the bestest of friends." Lexi smiled which Caleb returned.
"Do you want to hold hands?" He asked with a smile.
"Okay!" The two left walking around the city all alone, hand in hand.
That was when life was easy and they were 6.
