Chapter 2

Reader's POV

"Bye mom I'm going to school!"

"Bye hija~" My mom called out.

I sighed, stepping out of the house and closing the door behind me.

I looked across the street to see the human girl walking out of her house. I decided I would go talk to her. Just when I was about to shout her name, she was surrounded by three girls, one with pale skin, cerise hair and turquoise eyes. Another with similar pale skin, dark brown hair and cyan eyes. And the third with medium skin, black hair and black eyes.

They were talking, the cerise haired one started screeching, it hurt my ears. My wolf ears flattened against my head as I winced in pain. She's so loud, and her voice is so... ugly, she was about to break my ear drums.

The three girls walked away, after threatening the short girl. The girl stood still for a while, mumbling to herself.

"Hey!" I shouted from across the street, grabbing her attention. I waved at her while smiling.

She turned towards me and waved back, very friendly.

I ran across the street to catch up with her. "Don't pay any mind to those girls, they're probably just insecure about themselves."

She nodded, absorbing the information. "Do I know you?"

"Kinda? We're in the same werewolf class."

"So, what's your name?" she questioned.

"Y/N." I replied.

"Okay, my name is Aphmau!" She smiled.

"So, want to be friends?" I asked.

"Yeah! Want to walk to school together!" She said with excitement in her voice.

"Together?" I question.

"Yeah!" She bounced.

How cute.

"So, like what do you like to do?" I asked.

"I like watching a-anime"

"That's so cool! Which is your favorite?"

She smiled, "I like Fairy Tail!"

"No way! Really? Me too!" I beamed. "Who's your favorite character?"

"I really like Gray Fullbuster! Look I even have a poster of him!" Aphmau pulled out a poster from her backpack and showed it to me.

"You bring a poster of him to school?"

Her face went red as she quickly stuffed the poster back into her bag, being careful not to crinkle or rip it.

"I'm just teasing!" I giggled.

Aphmau sighed in relief, and her embarrassment soon went away.

We finally arrived at school and walked to our separate homerooms, waving goodbye to each other, after exchanging phone numbers.

~After Homeroom~

I was headed to my next class when I saw the annoying girl that almost broke my ear drums staring through a classroom window. So, I decided to checkout who or what she was staring at. I shifted slightly to the side and ducked behind a wall. I saw Aphmau in the class, sitting with two boys one with blonde hair and cerulean eyes, the other with light brown hair, and baby blue eyes.

I creeped up behind the girl. Tapping her shoulder, I spoke, "You know... I'm pretty sure stalker class is over that way." I pointed to a random trash bin in the corner of the hall.
