Arachne's Clinic
Arachne was on top of her building sitting next to a barrel burner, her view of Dark Water. Seeing a fire on the roof of the building is a norm among these parts. Some people want some solitude, be social, or just want to be known they are around. Not sure if it's to talk or to fight. For Arachne, it was solitude, thinking back on her recent year in hell. In truth, it had been a long time since she treated anyone.
Her time of where she would patch up any sinner or hellborn came to her clinic; as long as they pay up after the treatment. Her thoughts then lead over to her first meeting with a certain red overcoat hellhound, a time where he was still getting the lay of the Pride Ring. She remembered how out of breath Arséne was, apparently his sticky fingers had gotten him in some trouble with some individuals who he had recently met; to which wanted to have a 'friendly' conversation.
Arachne was confused about this hellhound, most would've been trying to stay out of trouble so that they either keep the peaceful life or find jobs, but looking at Arséne, she finds that this hound wants trouble. She looked at the smile of joy of how he escaped from those that tracked him, like a thrill that comes with it. Arachne had seen how exhausted he was from running, but wanted to continue on with whatever dumb stunts that he would do.
Arachne: sighs. What do you want, Hellhound?
Arséne: Arséne, nice to meet you. Um, takes a deep breath. I need a check up and a cat scan.
Arachne nearly chuckled at the request from the hellhound.
Arachne: And in what fresh hell makes you think I would do that?
Arséne then looked over to the doctor.
Arséne: Cause you're honestly the only hope I have.
Arachne: ...
Hours have passed, from all the questions, reflex tests, blood drawn, and from the scans...Arséne was perfectly healthy.
Arachne: Looking over the printed scans. ...Hm.
Arséne: Turns to the doctor. What's up?
Arachne: It would seem that it's a miracle that you could even speak. Much less seeing anything?
Arachne then posts up the prints on a lightwall for him to see. And upon a brighter look on the prints, an anomaly within Arséne's skull. An anomaly, in which it couldn't be described into specifics. From there, Arachne was wondering as much as it was, and was about to suggest another scan but Arséne had thanked her for her time. Arachne had first thought that Arséne would've been skeptical of a sinner helping with hellborn, but Arséne thought more that he didn't have enough money to pay her back anytime soon.
She was surprised, a hellhound concerned about paying her back. Her reputation and her place often say that they will remember her money. But to how that hellhound would show such kindness...she felt that he owed her nothing.
Her memories then were interrupted when she had heard a knock at the door leading into the roof of the present, she sighed in frustration, knowing who it was.
The door opens with a thread made by Arachne, a shark hellborn enters upon the roof. Blue and black color on their skin, clothes as though he was working on the docks of a ship. For Arachne, she didn't get a chance to look at them.
???: Arachne.
Arachne: ...Hm.
???: Delmar is waiting for his parts.
Arachne: They're in cold storage. They were waiting for you lot to pick them up.
???: Hm.
Arachne then pulls out a file to burn in the barrel. The shark took notice.
???: What is that? And Old case?
Arachne: No longer of interest to me.
...
The shark then takes his leave with a groan, she then takes a look over at the barrel. The file is known as 'Thief', with the photo of Arséne and his diagnosis. Though, what really caught her eye was the burning notes she made when she had the file.

A/N: Hey everyone, thanks you for looking into my stories thus far and have been dealing with my delays. And while I wish to continue writing, I fear life has once again called upon me to take a brake from writing. So, this will be sometime till I get back into writing again.
