The week has been quiet, I have been getting home late and leaving early just so I dont bump into someone I dont wish to see, but no matter how hard I try, shes the only face I see.
Her smile is in my head when I sign on papers, the taste of her lips on my tongue when I eat, and the sound of her moans in my ear when I shower. Shes chaos, destruction, calamity all packaged in one beautiful box.
And she lives with me.
I honestly didnt know what to feel when she told me to leave, apart of me was wishing that she was joking. But the look in her eyes showed me something different, she truly regretted the kiss between us, and I had felt like the biggest idiot in the entire world.
So that night I made a pact, I didnt care what happened, how she got hurt, where she got hurt, none of it mattered to me when she pushed me away. I dont associate myself with her anymore, only for events and thats it.
Her and I, were cut from the same cloth. Just two different sides.
I haven't seen her for a week, and I think its brought some calm into my life, calm as in quietness. There's no chaos, no loud noise, her voice doesn't ring in the halls, her footsteps are never heard. Its like I live alone again, except for the fact that I know there is someone else within my house walls.
I'm still at the office, finishing up some last minute work before I head home, as I sign papers and look through documents, theres a knock at my office door. Mason steps in and so does Theo. Their hair is all ruffled up and their ties are loose around their necks, Theo's suit jacket is completely crumbled while Masons is no where near him.
"What the fuck happened to you to?" I speak, looking them both up and down as they creep closer.
They return my question with a smirk, as they glance at each other before returning back to me.
"Wanna guess?" Mason shamelessly says.
I roll my eyes when I realize what their talking about, seriously can they not keep their dicks in their pants for 2 bloody seconds.
"Got anything to drink Boss?" Theo speaks from the couch as he rummages through the drawers of the coffee table. "If your hungry go home" I return my focus to my work.
But alas, with these two I can never catch a break, Mason jumps up onto my desk and seats his ass on it, hes practically sitting on my work and his ass takes up almost my entire desk. He stares down at me as he picks up the pieces of paper scattered across the table, I glare at him dead in the eye, motioning for him to get off, but he doesn't listen. "Hey why havn't we seen Mrs Cassano" Mason speaks, finally looking at me.
"Yeah, come to think of it, its been a while since we've seen her, hows she doing boss? you haven't killed her have you?" Theo chirps in from the couch as he picks up the TV remote and turns it on.
The papers in my hands fall onto the table, I reach into my pocket and retrieve a cigar pack, I take on out and reach into my pocket for my lighter "She isn't dead, she just isn't relevant" I speak, before placing the cigarette in between my top and bottom as I take out the lighter in my pocket.
Mason and Theo share a glance until Theo yells from across the room "The fuck?" I look up only to see his eyes boring into mine with so much confusion. Mason does the same "The hell do you mean shes irrelevant? have we not been working towards a certain goal with a certain group of people for so long, and now that we finally have her your calling her irrelevant?" Mason practically yells at me.
I stand from my desk, rolling my eyes as I pass him still sitting on my table. "She is only of use to me when the time comes, shes useless before that" I plump onto the couch opposite of Theo, who sits their sharing glances with Mason.
