Chester
"You do know what day it is right?"
Maxxie asked as the two boys walked to school together, Maxxie put his cigarette to his lips, sucking in before inhaling and breathing out the chemicals. The cold air stung their faces yet the warmth of being with each other made it a little more bearable."Yeah.. Friday"
Chester spoke, completely unaware of what it meant.
"Yeah.. Friday the 13th, of October, spooky season, it's the day of curses. You think Tuesdays are bad you aren't prepared for what will happen today"
Maxxie laughed as the two shared their hatred for tuesdays."I don't believe in curses, i've also never heard of Friday the 13th of October being a cursed day, nobody i've met cares about halloween as much as you do"
Chester replied as Maxxie rolled his eyes.
"This day only happens every 11 years, trust me if one of us doesn't end up in a life or death situation by the end of the day then you can tell me it's a all a lie"
Maxxie enthused, speaking at the speed of light.
"Deal"
Chester snickered as the two entered the school hallway."You know maybe the bad thing that's gonna happen to either of us will be tonight at whatever mystery thing you have planned. And maybe that bad thing wouldn't happen if you told me where we were going"
Maxxie announced, trying to persuade Chester to tell him what he had planned for the two of them."I know what you're doing, asshole. You're not slick"
Chester remarked, giving Maxxie a sly smirk as the tawny haired boy rolled his eyes.As the two walked down the halls Chester seemed to be getting a hell of a lot more female attention than he had last week, Camila, the supposedly 'prettiest girl in school' even gave him the 'fuck me' eyes as she said hi in her most seductive voice, though Chester didn't seem to give it much thought as the two walked down the halls.
"The fuck did you do? Grow 3 more inches over night? What's with all the flirty waving and winks?"
Maxxie asked as they approached his locker."Not sure, think I met them at the grotto that day I got really high. Never again, by the way. Horrible experience"
Maxxie laughed at Chester's innocence."What's the grotto?"
The freckled boy asked as he shoved books into his locker, which had pictures of him, Hugh and Alex pinned up and newly added ones of him and Chester, which the brunette smiled at as he saw them."Oh, it's this place that only footballers and cheerleaders know about apparently"
Chester rolled his eyes as Maxxie shut his locker and leaned against it to look at Chester.
"Well.. not anymore, I know about it now. Good job at keeping that secret buddy"
Maxxie patted Chester's shoulder as he laughed."Whatever"
Chester giggled as he followed Maxxie.
Maxxie took a quick pit stop to go to the bathroom and came out with a glum look on his face.
"Why so glum, chum?"
Chester asked as Maxxie began walking again.
"Just stupid people writing stupid insults" Maxxie replied, Chester didn't say anything more about it."Hey"
Lizzy called out as Chester and Maxxie walked to their class, Chester turned around and Maxxie visibly tensed up as he saw the girl approaching the two."Hey Liz"
Chester smiled as he entwined their fingers, Maxxie wanted to gag but kept it to himself, he became a lot less chatty as they made their way to their science classroom though.
