Maxxie
Maxxie hadn't slept well that night, he'd spent most of the night on his porch drowning himself in nicotine, taking care of his dad and mentally debating with himself whether or not they should still hold a party for Chester.
He regretted what he'd said to the boy, he spent hours trying to decide whether or not text him. He didn't.
He sat outside, smoking a cigarette as he watched the sun come up, faintly hearing his dad inside grumbling drunkly.
His phone buzzed, he picked it up, hoping it was Chester.

Moonface: i broke up with lizzy.
-Chester
The brunette hadn't gotten any sleep himself, he was up all night trying to comprehend what had happened as his girlfriend tried to make him feel better..
He suddenly came to the realisation he didn't want to be with her.
"Liz"
Chester spoke up as she kissed his neck.
She didn't stop however, so he interrupted again, lightly pushing her off."Liz"
He said a little louder as he pushed her shoulders away.
"What?"
She asked as she sat on top of him."I uh, I don't think we should be together anymore.."
Chester finally said it.
He'd finally said what he'd been wanting to say for so long.Lizzy didn't respond, instead she packed up her stuff quietly.
"It's because you're gay, isn't it?"
Lizzy asked just as she was about to leave, the words didn't seem spiteful, just sympathetic."Yeah.. I think so"
Chester replied, it felt weird saying it out loud, but he was relieved in a way. He'd finally broken up with her.
Lizzy sat on his bed, smiling."You like Maxxie, don't you?"
She asked, she spoke lightly. It reminded Chester of why he liked her in the first place."Probably"
Chester replied, sighing."I won't tell anyone"
Lizzy responded, she was a nice girl. She just wasn't all that great as a girlfriend, but maybe that was just because Chester wasn't all that into girls."Thanks Liz"
Chester smiled, he was glad they hadn't ended messily, he still wanted to be friends with her.She kissed his cheek sweetly before she made her way out the house, Chester smiled before he messaged Maxxie, forgetting about what had happened last night for just a second.
Once he'd sent the text, he remembered and he considered deleting it, until he saw that Maxxie had already viewed it.
He was surprised that Maxxie was up so early, usually he slept in until midday.-

Max: how'd she take it?
Moonface: surprisingly well

Moonface: should i still come to urs for 4:30?
Max: yeah
-Maxxie
He knew he couldn't stay mad at Chester for long, plus he couldn't let the party go to waste.
