"Is he not coming?!" I ask as Noor and Hala help me out of the venue after we'd told Imaan to go back to her mendhi. I didn't want to take the attention away from my friend especially when I knew people like to talk, word gets around one way or another.

"He's isn't answering, none of them are but I called your brother to come, he'll be here any minute." Hala replies, looking right and left towards the road.

"His car is white right?" Noor asks me.

"Yep!" I reply, feeling uncomfortable pains in my stomach.

That's the contractions.

Nearly speeding to us, Mason quickly gets out the car to help me in for the hospital.

The others also follow whilst Noor gives me her hand basically as a stress ball.

"Flipping hell I'm out of breath!" Hala exclaims, sighing.

Both Noor and Mason turn to her, "Anyone would think you're the one in labour."

"I'm not but that took me out!" She replies to Mason, opening the window for fresh air.

10 minutes later we nearly arrive at the hospital and Hala tries to call Haadi once again.

"It's ringing..." Hala sighs.

"Voicemail again I bet." Noor says, passing me a bottle of water.

"HE ANSWERED!" Hala shouts making me jump.

"Sorry I didn't mean to scare you!" She says with an apologetic smile.

"Hala what happened? 30 missed calls?" I hear Haadi shout, as Hala puts him on speaker.

"Haadi I'm in labour." I tell him as the other end of the phone goes silent.

"Hello? Haadi did you hear her?" Hala asks.

"Wait say that again, Elias was screaming about the food again." He replies making me roll my eyes.

"Haadi I'm having the babies." I repeat.

"You're what? Wait- what? Now?" He asks, shell shocked.

"Come to the hospital bro, my sisters going to have her twins!" Mason calls out as he parks the car.

"Khalil! Get the car we need to go to the hospital!" Haadi shouts as we leave the car.

"Come quickly, Haadi." I tell him, feeling my pains grow worse.

"I'm coming qalbi, okay? Stay strong, May Allah make this easier for you in this time." He replies sweetly.

"OKAY NO TIME FOR THIS CUTE COUPLE STUFF YOU NEED TO GET IN THE HOSPITAL!" Hala shouts, ending the call as Noor helps me to the hospital.

"Yes ma'am." I laugh before giving Mason my house key for my hospital bag.

20 minutes later, I'm admitted into the hospital and Noors told me Haadi has finally arrived.
