Chapter 8

-Juno's POV-

I didn't feel good as Selene led me to her office. I had been keeping my powers contained for a long time and now that I had let them go with a massive spell. I could practically feel the magic pulsing just under my skin. My wings were threatening to poke out again as Selene carried me through the halls. The only thing stopping them was that Selene hadn't stopped releasing her relaxation pheromone. My wolf was practically a puddle in my mind from the scent. Selene's arms tightened on me as we passed by several classrooms with teachers poking their heads out. 

"The situation has been taken care of, you can all keep your lessons going" Selene spoke, her voice strong despite the speed at which she was carrying me. 

Snuggling into her chest I sighed as I heard the steady rhythm of her heart. 

"Selene, I can't hold them in any more" I groaned as my wings burst out my back. 

"I know just another couple of paces" Selene reassured, placing a chaste kiss on my forehead. 

She was right, just as my control nearly snapped she managed to get us both in her office and lock the door. She sat on the floor with me in her lap so we were facing each other. Her red eyes staring at me in concern. 

"Please" I groaned as my magic started to kick up a fuss, wind blowing around us. 

"Tell me what to do Juno" Selene pleads, a whine leaving her lips in her worry for me. One of her eyes turning amber gold. 

Pulling my hair to the side to reveal my neck. I breathlessly admit what I need. "You should be able to take some from me through my blood" 

"Are you sure" Selene asked while searching my face for any apprehension. 

My heart gave a pitter patter at her concern she had for me.

"Yes I trust you" I agreed, smiling as I heard her fangs drop. 

I moaned softly as she kisses my throat, her fangs grazing my skin before she bites. I had heard a vampires bite was pleasurable but it shouldn't feel this good right. I felt each suck as she drew up the blood and the licks as she drank from me. Lust clouding my mind as desire built in my stomach. Each mouthful skimming away my excess magic until I was stable enough that my wings retreated. 

"You taste so good" Selene whispered against my skin as she pulled her fangs from me. Licking over my throat one last time to seal the wound.

Her eyes were hooded as she finally pulled away from my neck. My body was singing with pleasure as she held me close. Our bodies pressed tightly into each other. Kissing her softly on the nose, I gasped as her hands tangled in my hair and her lips crashed into mine. 

I could taste my blood on her tongue as we kissed. Sensual and slow as we felt each other. I never wanted to let go of her. My arms wrapping around her neck as she started to grind into me. Fire shoots straight to my core at the movement. Pulling away my chest heaves with effort as I try to get my breathing under control 

"Thank you Selene" I expressed softly as I heard our hearts hammering in the small space of her office. 

"Always" 

The words are a growl as she looks at me, one eye blazing gold while the other remains a beautiful red. We sit like that for several more minutes before Selene is able to gain control her both her eyes going back to her beautiful red. Our scents of desire mingled in the room so much that I can barely think as my wolf demands we claim our mate and establish the full bond. 

"Can you open the window" panted Selene as she let her arms drop from around me. 

Nodding I step back and walk to the window behind her desk. Opening it I hear Selene sigh as the worst of our mixed pheromones are sucked out into the air. Looking around the room I smile as I wait for Selene to stand up. Shelves of books and fidget toys. A corner for tea with a sink and kettle. The shelves above holding as many types of tea that I knew existed and even more that I don't recognise. Looking over Selene's desk I find the fridge underneath and the wolf bed under the window. 

"Damn, your own fridge, perks of nobles eh" I laugh my fingers tracing the wood of Selene's desk. 

Quickly casting a shield spell on the desk. That make it harder for those with ill intentions to harm her. 

"Indeed, but it's mostly for my blood supply, I actually helped a kid out cause I had it so I think its a good investment" Selene explains as she stands up, dusting the back of her trousers as she does so. 

"Hmmmm, can I put my lunch in here tomorrow, whenever I bring left overs someone steals it from the staff room" I mused, my fingers lingering on her desk for a few more seconds. 

The feral hiss that followed was no doubt Selene expressing her disapproval at the entire situation of lunch. I knew who it was too, I just needed to catch them in the act to get HR to respond. 

"Juno, does your magic go out of control often" Selene questions softly as she reaches out for me only to pull her hand back at the last minute. 

Smiling I step into her, wrapping my arms around her waist before I answer. 

"Sometimes, if I don't use it often enough at a high enough level" I try to explain. 

"So how do you manage it" She asks, her concern thick with every word. 

"I make potions, and talismans in my free time and magic artifacts that I sell, they go pretty high too" I shrug, nestling myself under Selene's chin. 

"When was the last time you made any of that" Selene asks again, digging deeper. 

"Before school started I think, I've been so busy grading and teaching to have time to do much else" I say, before gasping. 

"Please take care of your health Juno" Selene sighs, kissing my head again before nuzzling into my hair. 

"I will, I'll make some thing for you this week" I stated, anticipation blooming in my chest at the prospect of giving my mate a gift. 

"I look forward to it, now we have until lunch, do you wanna shift and play in the big gym with me, I need to let my wolf out soon and no doubt you need to as well" Selene gasped, like she'd suddenly got a brilliant idea. 

"I'd love too" I nodded, my wolf already rising, fur prickling under my skin in promise. 

Letting Selene unlock the door to her office, we walked hand in hand towards the changing rooms for the biggest gym on campus. It was like the Tardis, a powerful spell had been cast on it so it felt like there was four large biomes inside instead of just a regular gym room.
