-Juno's POV-

"The fundamentals of magic, are the elements. Fire, water, earth, wind, light and dark. Every other magic is derived from this basic elements" I explain to the bored looking students in my class as I draw an elemental diagram on the whiteboard.

"Every supernatural being has some magic in their blood, some use this to change shape, others to cast spells. For witches and Fae, they control magic and utilise spells. For Hybrids it is imperative that we maintain control of our power" I continue, smiling when I see several Fae and witch hybrids perk up at the mention of their species.

"However, there is an outlier. And that is vampires. Vampire's all possess a singular unique gift. well known vampire. Lord Maliki Von Touran has the gift of fire. His control is legendary. However, even more impressive is his mate. Lord Oscar Von Toran. A vampire wolf hybrid with the gift of ice creation" I finish smiling wide now that I had all their attentions.

I watch the room of twenty or so students think over this new information. My role is to teach them magic control and the theory behind it. at thirteen and fourteen they'd be dangerous if they didn't learn control soon. Scanning the room I ask if the students have any questions. My eyes land on the witch-wolf at the back of the room, Colette. Lovely blonde hair sat atop her head and hazel eyes regarded me with deep respect.

"Yes Colette"

"How come Your the one teaching magic 101" She asks tilting her head to the side.

"Well, Like all of you I am a hybrid. Specifically a wolf-fairy hybrid. My magic is powerful and I have excellent control, I was chosen specifically to teach at this school following an examination" I grin, my wolf yipping through my human mouth.

"Can you show us some magic" another student pipes up in the back.

Looking up my wolf provides information on their scent as soon as I look in their direction. A vampire witch from the look of it. Red eyes and short brown hair. His clothes styled to perfection. Mike.

"Sure, here" I offer, holding out my hand and concentrating my magic into my fingers.

a small storm sparks on my hand, making a small tornado twirl in my palm. Sparkles crackle along with the storm giving an effect of glitter. It always happened with fairy magic. Think fairy dust but without the mess of actual glitter. I increase and decrease the size of my spell before I close my hand and snuff out the storm.

"Wow" The awe from the students is immediate.

Their faces show, shock, awe and respect. Especially the witch-wolf Colette. Her magic sparking powerfully in response to my small display. She was strong and even my wolf cowered at the power. Snarling at the power as the other students winced. My fairy side however relished the challenge of guiding this young lass.

"Colette, be calm" I speak, loud enough that her power snaps back into her. The students breathing a sigh of relief.

"I'm sorry, Miss Juno, I can't control when that happens sometimes" She whimpers sadly, head dropping in shame.

"It's alright Colette, that's what I'm hear to teach you. Some of your magical aptitudes will be higher than the others but we all share the ability to manifest and control magic" I sooth quickly, offering a smile to ease Colette's nerves.

"Miss Juno, do we get practical lessons with you" A different student asks from the front.

A hybrid fae, predominantly a Pixie. Slender with fluffy strawberry blood hair. Light purple eyes looking at me with childlike hope. Ace.

"Yes, tomorrow's lesson will be mana control and basic spell casting" I answered quickly, smiling wide.

Cheers and shouts raised the classroom. Twenty young voices raised loud enough to ring in my ears. Before I could tell them to calm down, the bell rings out, shrill and loud. I see the students off smiling at each student as I send them to their next class. I now have an hour before my next class. My wolf whine's at me as my stomach grumbles. Time for a snack me thinks. Picking up my bag I leave the classroom.

I hum a tune as I walk towards the staff room smiling as I pass several students, pride blossoming in my chest as several students recognised me. After only a week at a new school they were settling in nicely. I had heard the school counsellor was doing a good job at listening to the students problems. They had seemed wonderful and I wanted the chance to meet them. Maybe I could talk about my dual nature and get some things off my chest. Hopefully I didn't have to be perfect in their eyes. My mother would say otherwise though. Shaking my head to rid myself of my thoughts.

I sighed as I got to the staff room. Taking in a breath as I pushed open the door. The smell of coffee immediately hitting me in the face and causing me to sigh in pleasure. shuffling over to the pot on the side I find my cup in the cupboard and reach to pour some coffee into my cup. Once poured I moved to the corner of the room and bring the steaming liquid to my lips. Sipping slowly I smile as two more teachers join me in the room. One of the p.e. teachers and a history teacher. They greet me and the three of us start conversing about the weather and other miscellaneous topics. The way adults do when we don't know a person well enough to have a deep conversation. Continuing my coffee I get a protein bar out of my bag and start picking at it.

"Miss Juno, how's the magic class going, it has to be more engaging than history right" the history teacher questions finally snapping me from my thoughts.

"I see a lot of potential in my class, so I'm really happy so far. I can't wait to see their progress" I respond happily sitting higher.

They nod and then begin to complain about their classes. I sigh again and sit back prepared for a long and weary rant.
