Just a heads up for this chapter I haven't watched all the Texas chainsaw massacre franchises so for their family the sawyer family and Hewitt family I'm just combining them lol so I'm sorry if it's confusing!!!
He nods excitedly a wide smile on his face
" ok" is all you say as you smile back
"Mama?" You call walking into the house
You had gotten up early before Tommy wakes up-to talk to Luda about the wedding and such
"In here dear" she calls from the kitchen
When you walk in all you see is her at the table, no sight of the boys
"Where's the boys gone to?" You ask sitting down across from her
"Oh I told them to do whatever today just as long as they leave the house empty for us " she says as she hands you the wedding dress she was Hemming
"Oh mama it looks perfect" you say holding it against your frame
She smiles at you with care
"Ohhhh!!!!" You say remembering your talk with Tommy yesterday
"We've picked a date!"
Ludas face lights up at this news
"It's the twenty second of this month" you say with a bright smile
"Perfect!" Luda says pulling the calendar off the fridge and circling the twenty second of this month and writing wedding on it
"Now all we need to do is get the decorations, invite the family and get a officiant" she says happily
"Oh right, iv been meaning to ask mama" you say as you nervously fidget with your hands
"Yes dear ?" She asks
"Um well.....who are the "family" your referring to" you say with an awkward smile
"Ohh right you don't know them" she gets up all of a sudden and goes to her bedroom you stay seated in the kitchen confused
She comes back in a few minutes holding a large book and sits next to you opening the book your met with pictures of people some you recognize and some you do not
She points to a heavy set woman
"This here is my sister" she says smiling
Then points to a skinny girl with short brown hair "and this is her daughter Henrietta" she turns the page to a little boy no older then a month old "this is Henrietta's adopted son Jedidiah"
"Awwww"you say gushing over the baby
She points to a photo of a group of guys you recognize one being Nubbins he stands next to a guy who....looks exactly like him?
"Ah I see you found chop top" she says tapping the picture of him
You look at her slightly confused
"He's nubbins twin brother"
"Ohhh" you say as the realization hits
She smiles and continues pointing to a man who looks around the same age as Hoyt "this is drayton, and next to him is of course Tommy"
You look closer at the picture not recognizing him at first until you see those kind eyes and you know it's him
She points out more people like grandma and grandpa who have passed on, Heather who's apparently Tommy's cousin, Verna who is Jedidiah's aunt, vilmer and his girlfriend.
"Wow mama I didn't know you had this much family " you laugh and she joins in
"Yeah well most of them are living their own lives in different places so I don't bring them up much" you hear the faintest sound of sadness in her voice
She closes the book and sets it aside "anyway I've already sent out letters to them all saying there's a wedding in the family but I didn't tell them who it was" she smiles "I wanted to surprise them, since Tommy's the one getting married"
You nod understanding what she meant
"Ok now we have to plan the wedding!" She says excited
"Yess!" You say with as much excitement as her
For the next few hours you pick out the colour theme, where you want to have the actual wedding, and how your fair and makeup will look
"Mama you in here?" Nubbins says walking through the door
"In here" she calls
Nubbins walks into the kitchen with a few bags
"What's this?" You ask curious
"Some sTuffffff" he says winking
Luda gets up and looks through the bags in Nubbins arms then a wide smile goes across her face "shoo now up stairs with these" she says waving her arms at him
"I'm going I'm GOIng" he happily chirps
Luda gives you a knowing look meaning don't snoop through those bags
"So what now ?" You ask her
"Well we still need to pick a cake " she says smiling
"Ohhh yess!"
"Mama?" You ask
"Hm" she waits for you to go on
"Would you make the wedding cake for Tommy and I?"
"Ohhh dear girl of course I would love to!!" She rushes to you and hugs you
tightly
"Ok so the colour theme is dark blues and purple, with a starry night type of decor" you say proudly
"And where do you want it hun" Luda asks
Outside in the field for the actual wedding then for the reception could we set up canopy's?"
"Of course dear this is your day!"
Wow this is really happening you think to yourself you're going to be apart of this family for real soon.
