How dare he!

Mia aggressively ripped off the carpets of the wooden floors. The ink had done far too much damage, hence it needed to be replaced.

He's the one who acts all romantic around her, being all high and mighty like a knight. He suggested she stop resisting his advances and so she did, did she not? Yet he just left her half naked on his desk without another word.

"You're not ready yet, Mia!" She muttered mockingly, deepening her voice to try and imitate him only to end up nearly choking on her spit.

Who was he to decide that anyway?

Under all that anger she felt towards Severus, she felt embarrassed and ashamed for how things had gone down. She felt as if she was the one who came on too strong, but she didn't want to acknowledge that, so she put the blame on the next best person.

She didn't even bother to pick up all the parchments and books that had fallen over during their encounter. After replacing the carpet Mia returns to his quarters, swiftly preparing his dinner and leaving it on the table for him before retreating to her bedroom for the night.

She planned on avoiding him the following day as well. She knew his schedule well and would use it to her advantage.

The next morning she woke up early and rushed to the kitchen, preparing breakfast as she eyed the door to his bedchambers, making sure he didn't come out. Once she was done with the breakfast, she ate her plate and left his ready for him.

She went back to her room where she would be waiting till he left to teach his classes. Mia plopped herself down by the windowsill with a book, taking a deep breath before she started reading. She just wanted to get her mind off everything, forget last night ever happened.

All that went awry however, when there was a knock on her bedroom door.

She blinked, lowering her book as she looks up at the door. With a nervous gulp, she stands up and pads towards the door, reluctantly opening it to reveal the tall, dark robed Potions Master staring down at her.

"....I thought you'd be teaching classes at this time." She mumbled softly, tightly clutching the book in her hands as she glanced down at his shoes.

They are always so polished.

His brows furrowed at her words. "It's the weekend."

"Oh..." Her face reddened with embarrassment. "....Why are you here sir?"

Severus gently pushes past her, sauntering into her bedroom. "I figured, after my actions last night I owe you an apology Mia."

"Your actions? You mean after you just left me on your stupid desk with my knickers down?" She huffed, crossing her arms over her chest.
Upon hearing her words, Severus, who had been looking around her bedroom raised a brow, turning to look at Mia. "Hm. You know how to use that mouth when it comes down to it, don't you?"

"Stop saying stuff like that and answer me!" She went silent for a moment. "Sorry...."

He sighed gruffly, bringing his attention back to the bright décor of her bedroom. He walks around for a while, placing his hand flat on the sheet of her mattress, straightening it. "I do not wish to exploit you, Mia. When I saw you laying on my desk last night, offering yourself so willingly, I felt..." He stops to think for a moment. "....I felt as if I was taking advantage of you. You're young, vulnerable and you're in a subordinate position. This can't be done Mia."

He lifts his eyes from her bed to meet her wider ones, raising a brow as he waits for her response. She purses her lips, taking a moment to think about his words. She wanted to stay mad, and she wanted his explanation to be unreasonable, but she could see where he was coming from.
