Winter Miracles

The girl trudged through the forest, she couldn't remember exactly how many days she had stayed in the cave but as soon as she felt the first wave of cold she had decided that it was best to go back since she still is wearing just natures best suit.

Whilst she walked through the vast ocean of trees, she saw that most of her markings were gone. The ants know how to properly prepare for the drastic changes of seasons and so they had probably gone to find a better suitable place for the winter.

She didn't mind, the way she took had been engraved inside her mind now and she could go there without needing any more markings. A few tree roots or tree shapes were enough to convince her she was going the right way.

Once she reached her favorite stream she released a sigh in relief but she still stayed cautious not being sure if the guard girl had left or not.

She removed the leaves and got into the stream, it was night time. Despite the cold, she had decided it was best to go back in the dark, even if she could've lost her way.

She sighed in delight as she soaked in, and soon came the familiar footsteps that made her turn.

"Wow, perfect timing" she spoke just even before he could emerge through the trees.

"So now you decide to come back?" His expression was what she quite expected. An anger filled face.

She huffed before giggling.

"Mind joining me?" She asked but before she could even finish her request he was already stripping off his clothes. Including underwear. Improvement? she thought.

She didn't mind either way, she herself didn't wear anything at all. Nude was her best suit, of course nature was second, birthday suits are what humans were born with and the best to be worn.

Senku sat next to her, brows furrowed with his eyes closed.

"Did you eat properly?" He asked and she hummed.

"Sleep properly?" He added, she hummed once more.

"Did you do any activities that at least could exercise your muscles?" He questioned, eyes still shut.

"Excuse me are we doing an interview now?" She sassed and his eyes snapped open then her head met in contact with his palm.

*Thwack!*

"Idiot! Such a dumbass" he scoffed and she held the back of her head in pain. She glared at the male who in turn returned his own glare.

"I just wanted to check on my babies" she grumbled underneath her breath, still loud enough for the male to hear, he scoffed again. At this point she was up for counting how many scoffs he'd release tonight.

"Do you realize how dangerous it was that you did?!" He scolded leaning closer to the girl as he pointed to her chest pushing her back a little. She rolled her eyes.

"First of all, I don't care how secure your ideas are, there are still chances that they'll fail! Plus Tsukasa probably knows about you now despite the name change, what if you got abducted and I'd never know cause you're one hell of a wild animal that you never specify when to come back?!" Without even raising his voice much, he was terrifying. It was the answer in his eyes that was terrifying.

Y/n who had never had a good experience with loud voices trembled. Her eyes collected salty liquids before she could even process them. She was bound to have a panic attack and Senku could see that. His eyes widened and he was guilty, he didn't know what to do and started wracking his brain for a solution.

Just then in a sudden plan he leaned in and caught her lips. Not a peck, once again underneath the bright stars, underneath the moonlight in the same stream, they were kissing.
