"who is this beauty!" Ryusui stands in front of Y/n who looked at him in confusion.
"Y/n" she simply answered. That wasn't a question that needed an answer. Ryusui knew her.
"BEAUTIFUL!- ahem! Pleasure to meet such a great woman like you" he bowed and held her hand, soon kissing her knuckles. She looked at him, still confused, she just nodded and retracted back her hand before walking off.
"Y/n-sensei! Who is he?" The kids were now onto him. Who dared try to flirt with the wife of the chief? No one shall do that!
That's what all the kids thought. Not minding that she indeed still wasn't Senku's wife. Single and alone, she's still available for another man to sway.
Of course the kids didn't know that, or simply didn't believe that their teacher would even look at another man the way she did to their village chief.
"Chief aren't you going to punch him? He kissed Aza-nee's hand!" One of the young boys from the crowd whispered next to the village chief who found amusement on the way how youngsters minds worked.
"That's a common greeting that they used to do in the older times, I don't think it's enough reason to punch him" he ruffled the boy's hair who looked confused at the chief.
"Boring, if I was you, I'd be kicking him to the ground" the child mindlessly replied before running off towards Y/n who was wearing a smile so wide as she entertained and taught things to the young minds.
Ryusui stood there eyeing the crowd of children as they swarmed around the queen bee, he saw the beauty through her passion. She held the kids with gentle touches and taught them with minds full of wonders, she was shining in her job.
Senku came to stand beside the male who understood well why he watched her with such a soft smile. He'd never cower and be jealous over an admiration for the girl, he's not a threat- maybe just yet, but to see the true beauty of something or someone is a sight one can't be bothered but stare at in daze.
"Your woman, aye?" The man, the self proclaimed captain raised a brow at the scientists who scoffed and smiled.
"Can't be said, but sure, I won't lie and say she doesn't matter to me, she really does" Senku stated before going back to what he was working on.
"Oh and don't be fooled, that's not her passion" Senku chuckled. Maybe she looked blooming teaching but that was just because she was teaching kids, she looked way different from when she teaches the adults and teens.
"What's her passion then?" Ryusui cocked his head to the side, wondering what else could make the lady more shining than she was while handling kids. Small humans that are somehow annoying to most big humans who lived back in their time.
"Probably raising animals, she wants a farm" Senku eyed the girl, and then to the dogs that were simply lying underneath a random tree for shade. They were the dogs she had managed to tame when she shunned herself from the crowds of the same beings as her.
The cats were back at the sea side. Probably lazing off underneath the warmth of the sun.
"An animal person huh, she's quite full of ambitions" Ryusui grinned widely. Of course he wasn't an exemption to the people who knew her, she was popular. Ryusui simply wanted to get to know her formally and properly, not using fame for connections.
"Trust me she has a lot, but one of her ambitions drives me crazy" and that was her thirst for death. Senku knew he couldn't just forcefully kick out her depression like a knight in shining armor. No, he knew she's still got some of those thoughts.
Yet for some reason his mind was more at ease than the days that passed. Maybe it was his guts telling him it was okay, for now.
As he looked away, her eyes landed on him. Once the man that would pull her away from other men that tried to hug her had let it go when another man had kissed her knuckles.
