Two days passed with agonizing slowness. Hyunjin remained by Felix's side for most of it, only leaving when absolutely necessary.

The others rotated in and out, always making sure someone was there, holding Felix's hand, whispering words of encouragement.

The hospital room, though sterile and cold, was filled with the warmth of their love and concern.

On the morning of the third day, Felix's eyes fluttered open. He blinked, disoriented, taking in the beeping machines and the sterile white walls.

His friends, who had been dozing off in various uncomfortable positions around the room, were immediately alert.

"Felix!" Chan exclaimed, rushing to his side. "You're awake." Jisung ran in the hallway to call over a doctor.

Felix tried to smile but found his face stiff. "What happened?"

"You fainted," Hyunjin said gently, squeezing Felix's hand. "We were really worried."

A doctor entered, checking Felix's vitals and nodding with approval. "You gave your friends quite a scare, young man," he said with a kind smile. "We've done some tests and we need to talk about the results."

Felix nodded, his heart pounding. His friends gathered closer, forming a protective circle around his bed. He barely even remembered what happened.

Calm down, you can't be scared, don't you dare say a word.

The doctor sighed and looked at Felix with a mixture of sympathy and resolve. "You have a rare condition known as Addison's disease. It's treatable but can be serious if not managed properly. Your body doesn't produce enough of certain hormones, which is why you fainted. We'll need to start you on medication immediately."

Felix felt a wave of relief that it was something manageable, but the somber faces of his friends told him they were deeply concerned.

He reached out, touching Hyunjin's hand with his right arm and touched Chan's hand with his left arm.

"It's going to be okay," Felix said, trying to reassure them. "I can handle this."

Chan's voice was thick with emotion. "We're here for you, Felix. Always."

...

Over the next week, Felix's hospital room became a second home for his friends. They brought him his favourite foods, played games, and spent hours chatting and laughing, trying to lift his spirits.

The shared moments, though clouded with underlying worry, were filled with love and support.

Felix felt more grateful than ever for his friends, but he couldn't shake the feeling that something was being kept from him.

...

A week later, Felix was discharged from the hospital. His friends insisted on escorting him home, making sure he was settled comfortably in his apartment before they reluctantly left.

"Call us if you need anything," Changbin said, his voice firm. "We mean it, Felix."

Felix nodded, smiling softly. "I will. Thank you, all of you."

That evening, Felix received a call from his Aunt Momo. Her cheerful voice instantly lifted his spirits.

"Felix! How's my favorite nephew?" she asked.

"I'm your only nephew." Felix laughed at his aunt.

They spent the next hour catching up. Felix told her about his finals, his friends, and the diagnosis. Momo shared stories from her recent travels, her laughter infectious.

"I'm so glad you're okay, Felix, well except for the diagnosis," Momo said, her voice softening. "You've been through so much, but you're so strong."

"Thanks, Auntie. I miss you," Felix replied, his heart aching with the distance between them.

"I miss you too, sweetheart. We'll see each other soon, I promise."

They ended the call reluctantly, both feeling a bit lighter from their conversation. Felix sat back, reflecting on the past week.

Despite everything, he felt incredibly lucky to have such supportive friends and family. Yet, the bad feeling still lingered at the back of his mind.

As the night deepened, Felix resolved to talk to his friends about it soon.

For now, he needed to rest, and he fell asleep with a sense of gratitude, surrounded by the love and care of those who mattered most to him.
