The following weekend, they decided to have a picnic in the park.
Felix had been looking forward to this all week and couldn't wait to spend more time with his friends.
When they arrived, they spread out a large blanket under a tall oak tree, surrounded by a lot of snacks and drinks.
The atmosphere was light and cheerful as they joked and teased each other.
Felix found himself sitting next to Hyunjin, their shoulders brushing occasionally.
Every touch sent a jolt through Felix, and he struggled to maintain his composure.
"You okay, sunshine?" Hyunjin asked, noticing his distraction. Felix forced a smile, replying, "Yeah, just enjoying the day."
"Just enjoying the day." My ass!
Hyunjin smiled back, his eyes warm. "Good. We're glad you're here with us." Felix's heart swelled at the sincerity in Hyunjin's words.
Felix stayed silent for most of the time, lying down on the colorful blanket and enjoying his time with his friends happy voices as backround music.

As the days wore on, Felix noticed subtle changes in his friends' behavior.
They seemed more attentive to his needs, more protective as well, even the omegas.
When Felix caught Jisung and Jeongin sharing a quick glance, his curiosity flared again, but he quickly brushed it off.
