I'm really really sorry for being late with this update but a lot has been on my mind with my family and school so I hope you understand.

It's only been less de 3 weeks since I started and tomorrow and the day after tomorrow I have a physics test and a maths test, so I'm really trying my best to cope with it without screaming and mentally dying 😭

Anyways, enjoy the chapter, and please bear with me if I sometimes update a day or two late, I'm just barely holding up with everything.

P.S: Next chapter is on the 28th ❤️

Felix blinked in surprise, taking a step back to get a better look at the person he had bumped into. Indeed, it was Jeongin, standing there with an equally shocked expression.

"Felix hyung? What are you doing here?" Jeongin asked, his eyes wide with surprise.

Felix managed a small smile, trying to push aside the whirlwind of thoughts in his head. "I could ask you the same thing. I'm here to visit my aunt. She's... not doing well."

Jeongin's face softened. "I know, Channie hyung told usa bout her, but we didn't know you were here already. I'm really sorry to hear about your aunt. I hope she gets better soon..."

"Thanks," Felix replied, appreciating the sincerity in Jeongin's voice. "What about you? What brings you here?"

Jeongin scratched the back of his neck, a sheepish grin spreading across his face.

"I'm here to visit my parents before they head back to the States. They've been here for a few days, and I wanted to see them before they left. Plus, it's one of my cousin's wedding as well, so yeah." He glanced at the bag Felix was holding and raised an eyebrow. "Buying suppressants, huh? Everything okay?"

Felix felt his cheeks heat up slightly. "Yeah, just being cautious. I didn't want to risk anything unexpected happening while I'm here."

Jeongin nodded understandingly. "Well thought, hyung. Well, since we're both here, how about we grab a coffee or something? It'd be nice to catch up."

Felix hesitated for a moment, but then nodded. "Sure, I guess? There's a café around the corner."

There's no harm in this right? After all, we're still friends--I hope...

As they walked to the café, Felix couldn't help but feel a bit more at ease. Jeongin had always had that effect on people, with his calm scent and easygoing nature. They found a small table near the window and ordered their drinks.

"So," Jeongin began, stirring his coffee absentmindedly. "How's everything with you and the others? Did you talk to any of them after you talked to hyung?"

Felix sighed, taking a sip of his latte. "It's... complicated. I mean, you've all basically confessed to having feelings for me, and I'm still trying to sort out how I feel about everything. It's a lot to process... especially with everything happening with my aunt."

Jeongin gave him a sympathetic look. "I cann't even imagine how tough that must be. But knowing me and the guys, we'll support you no matter what decision you make. We care about you a lot, hyung. More than you know actually."

"Yeah, you do, don't you?" Felix smiled weakly, droping his gaze in his lap.

"It's just hard to wrap my head around it all, I guess. I never expected any of this." He paused, looking Jeongin in the eye. "I hope Chan told everyone what I told him... that I'll have an answer once I'm back in Korea."

Jeongin nodded. "He did. We all understand that you need time. No one's pressuring you, hyungie."

Felix felt a surge of gratitude. "Thanks, Jeongin-ah. That means a lot. I just hope you all know how much you mean to me, it's not immediately a 'no', it's more of a 'please wait' thing. It's all just... overwhelming."

Jeongin reached across the table and gave Felix's hand a reassuring squeeze. "Take your time. You don't have to rush into anything. And if you ever need to talk or just need a distraction, I'm here, Jisung is here, everyone else is also here. We don't need to be mates to love you, even if it's one-sided. Friends can give advices to eachother, right?" The maknae smiled.

Felix looked at Jeongin, feeling a sense of comfort in his words. The gentle squeeze of his hand seemed to convey more than just friendship, though.

They continued to chat, catching up on each other's lives since last week and sharing stories. For a little while, Felix was able to forget about his worries and just enjoy the company of a friend. By the time they left the café, the sun was starting to set, casting a warm glow over the city.

As they walked back towards Felix's hotel, Jeongin turned to Felix. "Hey, hyung. If you need a break from everything, feel free to come by my cousin's wedding. It might be a nice change of pace."

Felix considered it for a moment before nodding. "I don't think I'm in a financially well position to go, but anyways. Thanks, Jeongin."

"Oh, you don't have to come with money, I can just bring you as my plus one, people bring friends or siblings as plus ones all the time, so it won't be weird." Felix considered for a second.

It could do me some good, I guess.

And maybe it could also help me figure things out. I already know I like Hyunjin hyung, but maybe I can learn to love the others more than just friends, as well? Starting with Jeongin?

"Are you sure it's fine?" Felix asked and Jeongin nodded, so Felix then agreed.

They parted ways with a promise that Felix will come to the wedding as Jeongin's plus one, and Felix felt a bit lighter as he headed back to his hotel. Running into Jeongin had been an unexpected but welcome distraction.

Back in his hotel room, Felix sat on the bed, pulling out the crumpled piece of paper from his pocket. He unfolded it and added a new item to the list:

5. Attend Jeongin's cousin's wedding.

Hmm... maybe I can just..?

.

.

.

.

.

6. Try to fall in love with 7 other people.

He stared at the list for a moment, blushing lightly, then put it away, feeling a sense of determination. He would take things one step at a time.

With that thought, Felix settled into bed, letting the events of the day wash over him. Tomorrow was a new day, and he was ready to face it. Until he abruptly shot out of his bed.

OH SHIT, TOMORROW I NEED TO GO SHOPPING FOR THE WEDDING!

FUCK!

AND I DON'T KNOW IF I HAVE ENOUGH MONEY!

DOUBLE FUCK!
