Updating this a day earlier since I have an announcement to make~~

So as you all probably know, I'm a student. It's all hard for me right now since I'm in my last year and right at the start of the year where tests always accumulate fast and are very stressful.

And here comes my announcement, oh boy.

Instead of updating every 5 days, I will be updating every 7 days, starting from today. So that means you'll get a new chapter every Sunday until I'm in a better position to update every 5 or 4 days again.

I'm sorry if you don't like this, but it also has to be done to help me get through this school year alive and sane and have some more time into exploring the story more and more. Finding kinks, plots, interests and things as such, you know?

I'm really sorry, but again, it's to help me write a better story for you.

Next update, and every update from now on, will be only on Sundays ❤️❤️

I ask for your understanding and patience~~ ❤️ And again, I'm sorry.

The next morning, Felix woke up with a sense of urgency. The realization that he needed to find a suitable attire for Jeongin's cousin's wedding hit him hard.

He rummaged through his wallet and counted the money he had left. It wasn't much.

I'll have to be really careful with how I spend this.

Maybe I can find something decent at a thrift store.

As long as it's clean and presentable, it should be fine.

He quickly got dressed and headed out of the hotel. The city was already bustling with activity, and Felix found himself blending into the crowd. He walked to the nearest thrift store he could find and began browsing through the racks of clothing. His mind was racing with thoughts about the wedding, his aunt, and the complicated thoughts he had about his friends.

After about an hour of searching, Felix finally found a suit that fit him well enough. It wasn't perfect, but it would do. He also picked out a tie that matched the suit, hoping it would make him look more put-together. He paid for the items and left the store, feeling relieved.

As he walked back to the hotel, Felix's phone buzzed in his pocket. It was a message from Chan.

Chan: Hey, Felix. Just checking in. How are you holding up?

Felix smiled at the thoughtfulness of his friend, I guess? He quickly typed a response.

Felix: Hey, hyung. I'm doing okay. Just bought a suit for Jeongin's cousin's wedding. How are things over there?

Chan's reply came almost immediately.

Chan: Things are good. We're all thinking about you and hoping your aunt gets better soon. If you need anything, don't hesitate to ask.

They're thinking of me...?

Felix felt a warm sense of gratitude. It was comforting to know that his friends were there for him, even from afar.

Felix: Thanks, Chan hyung. That means a lot. I'll let you know if I need anything.

He put his phone away and continued walking, feeling a bit more at ease. When he arrived back at the hotel, he hung up the suit and tie carefully, making sure they were ready for the wedding. He then flopped onto the bed, exhausted but satisfied with his morning's efforts.

Later in the afternoon, Felix decided to take a walk to clear his mind, he knew it was dangerous to walk alone at night as an unmarked omega and on mating season, but he just wanted some peace of mind.

He wandered through the city, letting his thoughts drift. He thought about Jeongin's words from the day before. It was overwhelming, but also... comforting?

As the sun began to set, Felix found himself at a small park. He sat on a bench, watching the people pass by. A couple walked hand in hand, children played on the swings, and an old man fed the pigeons. The simplicity of it all was soothing.

His phone buzzed again. This time, it was a message from Jeongin.

Jeongin: Hey, hyung! Just wanted to remind you about the wedding tomorrow. Don't worry about anything, just come and have a good time.

Felix couldn't help but smile at Jeongin's enthusiasm.

Felix: Thanks for the reminder, Innie. I'll be there. Looking forward to it.

Jeongin: Great! See you tomorrow, hyung!

You reacted with ❤️ to Baby Bread 🍞's message!

Felix put his phone away and took a deep breath. Tomorrow would be another new experience, another step in figuring out his feelings and navigating the complexities of his relationships.

He felt a strange mix of anticipation and nervousness, but also a sense of readiness?

As the sky turned from orange to deep blue, Felix got up and started walking back to the hotel. He knew that whatever happened, he had his friends to support him, and that thought alone gave him the strength to face whatever came next.

Back in his room, Felix prepared for bed, making sure everything was in place for the wedding the next day. He laid down, his mind calmer than it had been in days. He closed his eyes and let himself drift off to sleep, feeling a sense of peace wash over him.

Tomorrow was a new day, and Felix was ready to embrace it.
