Soon after Orihara's lecture ended, she spotted Ado waiting for her at the university's gate. She was examining one of the dragon statues there.

"So we're a dracology major now?" "Dracology? Whaaaat... Not me, for sure." Ado quickly took a step away. "Don't know what you're talking about..." Laughs are healthy, they say.
"Then, shall we go?" Orihara extended her hand. 「Just like the prince inviting his princess for a DANCE ON THE FLOOR!!!! MIRROR MIRROR DANCE IN THE MI- ahem.」

Hand in hand the two walked along the not-so-wet roads. Ado told her friend everything about her lecture, even that funny moment when the teacher had forgotten his notes. Orihara told her day too, and the way she had to show her example of art on the projector. It's scary when you have to show your good work to colleagues, they'd probably think of her as a nerd now. "Well, nerds are pretty cool! They manage to know all of this stuff... Sometimes I wish I was a nerd." "You're probably right. Nerds tend to be pretty smart..."

Soon, the two passed the city centre and came closer to Ado's house. "Wait, Orihara, can I come to your place tomorrow?" "To my place? Why's that?" "I'm kind of curious if you have a pet. And we could work on our project!" "That's a good thought. Do you also want to stay overnight?" "Oh, yes! It's a plan then." Ado squeezed the hand of her friend. Then she placed a gentle smooch on Orihara's cheek. Stop, hold up. WHAT?? THAT'S PRETTY GAY IF YOU ASK ME. Orihara felt the same, her heart almost popping out of her ribcage. Ado on the other side went a little reddish in her face, just slightly, and then left with a wave.

Orihara touched her cheek. 「I'm not dreaming, am I? No, this is real.」Warmth and joy was spreading through her body. FINALLY. Well it's day 2, so there can still happen a lot.
The artist stood there for a few more seconds, until she really went home.

Ado's mind was racing with thoughts. Leaning against her closed door, she couldn't help but blush. 「Why did I do that... She won't call me a freak now, would she? No, Orihara is too nice for that.」
"Hey Ado, what's up?" A not so familiar guy perked up from the kitchen. "Oh, hi Kiyoshi. Don't worry... I just said bye to my friend." Kiyoshi grinned. "Seems like someone is in loooove~" "Oh shut up!" "I'm just kidding. But hey, your friend hasn't given up on you yet! It'll be better than highschool, don't you think?" Ado nodded. "You're right." "I'm always right! But I'm going to go back to cooking now. If you need me, I'm in the kitchen."

Ado watched her brother disappear in the kitchen. He was a handsome young man. 「No, a handsome pigeon. He spreads his wings if I fall out of the nest...」
Then, she decided to go upstairs to her room. It was a comfortable little room; some flowers standing on the cupboard, a few little plushies sitting on her bed and, not to forget, the Sheena Ringo collection.

The young woman laid down on the floor. Her favourite thing to do after a long day; letting gravity take you, minimalising the weight of your existence and everything revolving around it.
It was like a mediation. Ado reflected her day for some seconds.
Oh god, she really kissed Orihara!! On the cheek!! Only homosexuals would do something like that! Aghhh... She was acting really gay today. Such a freak...

But now that she thought about it, she kind of missed the physical contact with her friend already. Maybe Orihara would be okay with being so close... And not to forget, Ado will stay over at her place tomorrow. A little bit of nervousness squeezed itself into her head. What if her feelings go overboard? She wasn't a lesbian, was she? So many questions...
Just then, her phone buzzed. Oh my gosh, it was the devil.

ORIHARA ⇒ Wait, what should we eat tomorrow? I'm at Lawson right now, so I hope you respond quickly

「Did she really send a heart? OH MY GOD」Ado was freaking out over a simple emoticon, it was the first time Orihara sent a heart. Her luck surely was flying over to Mars, even if it was just day two!
Just then, she heard Kiyoshi calling from downstairs.

To be honest, Ado really admired her brother's cooking skills. If he wasn't a waiter at some restaurant in town, he'd surely be a master chef. Contrasting to his sister, Kiyoshi never attended university. He barely managed to graduate, but he seemed to like where he is.
"You cooking is great as always, Kiyo." Ado said between bites. "Thanks a lot. I pour my heart and head into it, did you know?" "Whaaaat? Are you a zombie?? Oh no!" The two laughed. It's nice having a brother who's just 3 years older than one's self; their humour was about the same.
"But say, Ado, how is your friend helping you with the project?" "She's a really good artist. I'd let her draw the covers and stuff." Kiyoshi nodded.

The two finished their meal. Ado wished her brother a good night, before disappearing into her room again. Somehow she felt really sleepy, even if it was only 8PM. Whatever, sleep is important.
Ado changed into comfortable nightwear, crawled into her bed and began to cuddle one of her plushies. She'll stay over at her friend's tomorrow.... She's really doing it. Grown up Ado will do a sleepover with a friend!
