Back at home, Orihara was thinking about how to make her friend feel better. Buy her a plush? No, she already has billions. Get her some flowers? No, they'll wilt until she gets to see them. "Toryo, do you got any idea? Ado's ill in bed, and I want her to feel better..." Toryo just meowed and gently hit her head against Orihara's palm. "I get you... Haah, this is the worst. I'm such a-"

Then, a light bulb appeared above her head! Well, not really... you get me...
"That's it! I'll make her biscuits! Oh, wait..." Right, her baking skills were just like her cooking skills, with a little more worseness. 「But maybe with enough determination, I can do it.」

So the artist got up and began to google some recipes for cookies and biscuits, until she finally found what she wanted. After checking the ingredients (she didn't have everything she needed), Orihara put on her coat and shoes and began a little tour towards the convenience store.
She even shot a picture of herself.

With that, Orihara shut her phone off again and entered the store. If you aren't interested in the shopping, please scroll past this paragraph...
「Flour, sugar and artificial colour...」 As soon as she found all the stuff (and got some candy too, it's important for mental health), she went foward to the cashiers. There goes my money.

Huh, I expected it to be longer...
After really really painful 10 minutes of waiting for the checkout, Orihara finally stood outside. Right inside a really cold blow of wind. Time to go back.
Right at the apartment, just when she wanted to unlock the door, the one of her neighbor opened up. The artist turned around in curiosity. There was a little girl with a birthmark in her face, staring into her soul. "Uhm, hey there..." Orihara crouched down. "I'm your neighbor, nice to meet you?"

The girl and her family had probably just moved in, because Orihara had NEVER seen her ever before. Just when the child was about to say something, her mother appeared. "Gira, sweetie, what did we say about opening the door?" 「She did this more often? Huh...」"Ah, I'm so sorry for her... One day you'll open the door for a robber, I'm telling you..." "No worries madam, we were just about to get to know each other. I'm Orihara." "Nice to meet you, I'm Saku. And this is Gira, my daughter." "Say, are you two new here?" "Yeah, we moved in two weeks ago." "Two weeks already...! I should've introduced myself earlier..." "Don't worry, it's better late than never."

Just then, a voice from inside the apartment called for the two. "Seems like I have to go. It was nice meeting you, Orihara. We'll see each other again." "Sure will! Bye, you two!" With that, the door closed.
「What just was that??」 Lately, too many people started appearing in Orihara's life. Is this healthy? Whatever, she should probably get into her home now.

"I'm baaaack!" No answer. Of course, who would answer... Orihara took off her coat and put it on a hanger on her door. Then she got to work. Stirring and mixing, preheating the oven, pouring the stuff on the tray, decorating... Then finally, after doing 22 of little biscuits, she could finally put the tray into the oven. Now, what could she do whilst waiting?

Orihara did a drawing. What did you expect, she didn't do her diary yet! With a few strokes, undos, arranging layers and using the blending brush, she got something silly on her canvas.

A sketch of Toryo on a throne full with fish-shaped cookies. It does fit her, though...

The alarm ringed, and the artist quickly rushed to the oven and looked inside. Her creation really looked good. Quickly she turned off the oven and got the biscuits out. They smelled perfect. Now they only need to cool down. Just then, her phone dinged.

ADO ⇒ can't wait

How cute...

ORIHARA ⇒ I bet so. Now turn your phone off, it'll only let your eyes hurt ♡
ADO ⇒ right
ADO ⇒ thank you

And with that, the online status on Ado's profile disappeared. Good, she took the advice... Orihara went back to her drawing.
Two hours are enough to cool down biscuits, right? As soon as queen Toryo was done, the artist began to pack the biscuits into a little bag. Well, it was nothing important anyway... Just some biscuits with blue roses on them. 「I hope Ado doesn't have a gluten allergy... or what if the frosting's not tasty?」All those shinpai again! Orihara never seemed to loose them. Now that her friend is ill, it was even worse than before. But she told her fear to shut up for now.

The artist put the bag on her nightstand, so she wouldn't forget about it tomorrow, then connected her phone to the charger and went to the bathroom.
She began to stare at herself in the mirror.
「Mirror, mirror, who's the prettiest person on this earth?」
Then she spat out the toothpaste.
「The blue haired singer is. And you're her friend...」
Orihara splashed herself with water. That's right... but when will she say the three famous words? It was so hard to contain them whenever she saw her.

Later in bed, when Toryo was a bagel on her stomach, Orihara thought. Maybe it was time to accept who she was.
"I love my best friend." she whispered into the darkness.

❨At this point I want to thank my friend Kiki, who made the gorgeous art in the banner. Thank you so much! And you too, dear reader! I hope you're not bored yet, haha❩
