A week and two days later...
It was uni day again. Orihara and Ado almost had their album done... but recently, Ado caught a cold. Well, no wonder; it was October, after all.

"You should really visit her if that stuff is so important." Naima and Orihara were in the pavillion. The rebel was carving something into the wood, whilst Orihara did what she could do best. "Mm, I don't know... what if I catch an illness, too? I really can't risk us both being ill at home." "Girl, quit your yap! If she's so important to you, you should pay her a visit!"
Naima grabbed the artist at her shoulders. "Listen. You two are girlfriends, right? I guess girlfriends do such things with each other, so right after your lecture ends you're gonna walk out of the gate and straight to her home, got that??" "We're not-" "Friends, girlfriends, P-chans... whatever, doesn't matter. So, do you promise me that?" "Uh... okay..." "Good. Dang it, why are you people so difficult to handle..."

One woman, one word.
After some more painful hours of lecturing, Orihara could finally leave the university's building. She gave one of the dragons a quick pat as she walked out of the gate. A major in dracology... it's been some days...
With massive determination, Orihara walked along the streets, straight (or gay?) to Ado's house. But when she arrived, her confidence faded. Aghhh... the pain of introvertism. But she couldn't just stay here forever. Come on!

Kimi ga knock, knock, knock, knock. ♪

Soon, a familiar face opened. "Uhh... Hi, Kiyoshi. I'm here because-" "Because my sister's dead in bed?" "Yep. Wait- what?" Kiyoshi laughed. "Just joking! No, come in. I was making her food anyway."
Orihara stepped in and put her stuff aside. "It smells really good... Is that miso?" "Yeah. Really distinguishing, no?" "You bet."
Ado's brother poured some soup into a bowl and put that on a tablet, aswell with a spoon. "Here, get that up to her room. And be careful, she might be asleep. It's a really simple cold, so you shouldn't get infected easily... unless your immune system is trash." "I should manage staying healthy." And so, Orihara began to fight with the stairs about carrying something liquid.

After five painful minutes of almost spilling the soup, the artist finally arrived at the upper floor. Ado's door was really easy to find: A lot of pictures were on there, some with her and her brother, some of child Ado and some of random cats. Hesitantly, Orihara knocked.
No answer.
Then, she gently opened the door.
Ado was in her bed, hugging one of her stuffed animals and breathing very laboured. Well, she really did seem like she'd die any minute... even if it was just a simple cold.
"Ado, are you alright?" Orihara's voice was barely above a whisper. "Listen, um... your brother made you some soup..." With that, she sat the tablet aside. "And I just wanted to check up on you... Naima encouraged me."

Painful minutes of silence.
Then finally, a small movement from the bed. "Mm... Orihara, is that you? Oh my... why are you here...?"
Orihara's heart made a jump. "Dear goodness, you're alive! I thought you're not going to wake up in the next few hours... well... your brother, um- soup." She pointed to the steaming bowl of water with taste. "Ah... that's nice..." "So... How are you feeling?" "Pretty bad... Hey, Orihara?" "Hmm?" "Give me your hand."
The artist did as demanded, just to feel Ado's forehead a few seconds later.
"Wow, you're hot." As soon as Orihara realised, she corrected herself. "I mean, as in temperature! You're burning! Really..." "Just keep your hand there... It's cold and calming." "I see."

And so the two stayed like this for some time. Then Orihara melted a little and began to play with Ado's hair. She seemed like she was asleep anyway... Orihara felt like the prince to the princess again. Maybe destiny has really brought them togheter. Maybe in a faraway future, she'll ask Ado the one-million-dollar question. Not today or tomorrow. Just... someday.

When she really was sure Ado was asleep, Orihara gave her a small kiss on the forehead, went out of the room and quietly closed the door. She's done it again! Why was her friend so irresistible??
Downstairs, she found Kiyoshi. "Did everything go well up there?" "Probably... She just woke up and then fell asleep again... perhaps some medicine would help?" "Already tried that." He sighed. "My sister's difficult sometimes. Seems like it's getting more intense recently." 「More intense?? RECENTLY?? I HOPE IT'S NOT ME...」Orihara's mind was racing. "But nonetheless, I'm glad you stopped by. I could set my mind a little elsewhere and not worry about my sister passing away. Thanks, Orihara." "Um... No problem. I can visit more often, if you'd like..."

Meanwhile Ado was having one of the most well-hidden gay panic attacks of the century. Of course she was still awake, but HOLY MOLY... Orihara's touch was so gentle, she craved more. 「You can't just leave me off with that...」Maybe illnesses really make you clingy, needy and desperate. Her brain was playing Aishite Aishite nonstop. Well, at least she didn't have to go to uni... What was she missing out anyway?
Cuddling her plush again, she tried her best to fall asleep.
