"𝚃𝚛𝚞𝚎 𝚕𝚘𝚟𝚎 𝚜𝚝𝚘𝚛𝚒𝚎𝚜 𝚗𝚎𝚟𝚎𝚛 𝚑𝚊𝚟𝚎 𝚎𝚗𝚍𝚒𝚗𝚐𝚜." - 𝚁𝚒𝚌𝚑𝚊𝚛𝚍 𝙱𝚊𝚌𝚑

After the little meetup with Naima and getting to know her friend, Ado and Orihara went on the way back, not forgetting to give them a goodbye.
The two decided to take the path through the local park.

Well, that was because Orihara wanted to know what Ado's favourite flower was. Flowers can say a lot about yourself... just like your blood type. "So... What's your favourite flower, Ado?" "Hmmm... I'd say roses." "Really? Just... roses?" Honestly, Orihara didn't expect that. "Yep! But in a really rare colour... Blue roses are really pretty. And their meaning is amazing too." "Oh?"
Ado smiled softly to herself. "If you own a blue rose, you'll have eternal luck. That's what Wikipedia says, at least..." Orihara nodded along. "So you want to be the ultimative lucky person?" "Simple as that."

Ado then took a deep breath. "Actually, I really hate myself."
「Huh, where did that come from?」"Um... Why's that?" "I don't know... Maybe because I can't find friends... Somehow, I feel like I'm a burden to everything around me without even noticing it. Perhaps I'm just fooling myself. But let's see it positive; nobody can hate on myself more than I can!" "That's... true. Yeah. And with the flower, you think you'll have more luck when bearing with that?" Ado nodded. "I think so. I wish I could attend therapy, but then my brother will worry..." "Well, I'm not a doctor but... I'll try my best to make you feel better."

That was some of the most gay statements Orihara had ever released. Love's the only medicine... Is this a lie? NO! Hopefully she can stand to her word...
"Don't worry, I don't think you could ever fail." Ado squeezed Orihara's hand. "I'm really really glad to have you... I know I'm saying this so often, but it's crossing my mind everytime..." "Haha, I understand. I guess I am a really cool person in your eyes."

The two arrived at the apartment again. Toryo caught a sunny spot at the cupboard in the living room, and Orihara got a pen and notebook.
"A song about value, you said?" "Yep, that's my plan... but maybe not about weekends only... How about... mm... the value of yourself?" "Of yourself?" "Yeah, like... 'Sorrow remains on my back while feeling the wind taking it away'?"

"That's actually good."
Orihara noted that down. "I like your font." 「Ado sure says random things today...」"Uhhh... thank you? Yours is also quite... unique." "Anyways... Do you have any idea?" "Maybe... hmm... 'Appropriate love will lay to rest even this pain.'" "That doesn't rhyme though... Songwriting was way easier when I did it myself..."
"Maybe it's because this time you write something for yourself, not society. Like, you're not telling the others to change themself, it's telling the others you want to change yourself... or something like that. I'm not an expert in songwriting, haha-"
Ado nodded. "It makes sense... ugh, that's where the hate part kills the vibe." "Don't worry." Orihara laughed. "We've got all the time you need. Articulate your thoughts and push away the limiters." "'Just until the limiter kicks in, keep pretending to swim in this sea of superiority'... Orihara, note that down!"

About 20 minutes later, the two had quite a good amount of thoughts on the paper. "That should be enough. It's kinda like poetry." "Well, songs are poetry. Just with a nice melody behind them." "Huh... never noticed that..."
Just then, Ado's phone rang. It was her brother. He was asking when she'd come home.
"Uhh... About an hour, I think?" Short silence. "Alright, see you then." With that, Ado hung up. "An hour? Are you sure?" "Yep, I want to stay that long. I just love the atmosphere here..." She grabbed Orihara's arm and pulled her down on the floor.

The two were just laying flat on the ground now. "You know, this is kind of a mediation for me... I like doing this after long days." "Like uni?" "Especially uni. Interacting with people all day... that can really tire you out." "I get you. Hm... feels nice."
Orihara looked over at her friend. She seemed really peaceful, just as if she was sleeping. It would be so nice if she could just kiss her right on the spot.... but Ado wasn't into this kind of thing, wasn't she? The kisses before were just friendship, just like a french person would do.
No, she wanted to do something else. So Orihara wrapped her arm around the blue haired woman and pulled her closer. "I agree..." Ado whispered. Maybe she could really read minds. In some situations. An invisible connection.

Later, Orihara walked her friend home. She and Kiyoshi exchanged some words with each other, then she said goodbye to the siblings.
"She really is a good choice. She even dropped you off in time!" Kiyo was cooking again, but he was still up to a conversation with his sister. "Yeah... Hey, she's not a lazy one! Just because she can't be Gordon Ramsay like you doesn't mean she's a wet sack of flour!" "Haha, just joking. Did you enjoy your sleepover?" "Of course I did. Else I'd tell you. And we even wrote a song togheter!" "Oh, is that so?"

Ado continued to tell her brother everything. From the starting point of their project then to the idea of Value, the Kousen Tea House and the sudden meeting with Naima and the final articulation for the song. Kiyo nodded along with everything, sometimes also asking questions. It was important for him that Ado had loyal friends, just because, let's just say, what happened at highschool. But he was happy to hear that she formed a bond with a baseball player.
Kiyo played baseball too, his second talent after cooking. He was quite average in it, so he didn't do much about it.

And Orihara was petting Toryo on her couch whilst enjoying some instant food again. She was really excited for tomorrow. After all, it's uni day again! A lot of education and spending the breaks with Ado and Naima.
