The car stops at the entrance of a grand five-star hotel, its opulent facade illuminated by a thousand lights. Mili stared in amazement at the grand entrance, the ornate decorations, and the impeccably dressed doormen.

"Welcome to the real world," Ishan murmured, a hint of a smile playing on his lips as he helped her out of the car.

Inside the ballroom, the atmosphere buzzed with wealth and sophistication. Crystal chandeliers hung from the ceiling, casting a soft glow over the sea of well-dressed guests. Mili felt the weight of their gazes as she walked in with Ishan, whispers following her like a shadow.

"Isn't that the girl who disappeared two years ago?" someone whispered.

"How did she come back?" another voice added.

Mili felt a mix of anxiety and irritation. She glanced at Ishan, who was already engaged in conversation with several businessmen, seemingly oblivious to the gossip swirling around them.

Paul stood at a distance, observing everything. His eyes never left Mili, noting every detail, every whispered word. He watched as she gracefully moved through the crowd, her beauty undeniable. But beneath his composed exterior, Paul was seething. He knew the truth about Ishan and was determined to expose him.

After some time, Ishan stepped out into the garden to take a call. The cool night air was a welcome respite from the crowded ballroom. Paul seized the opportunity and approached him.

"Ishan Malhotra," Paul began, extending a hand. "Paul Richards. I've heard a lot about you."

Ishan shook his hand, his business smile firmly in place. "Always good to meet a fellow businessman. How are you finding the party?"

"It's impressive," Paul replied, his eyes sharp. "But I'm more interested in discussing something else. Something personal."

Ishan raised an eyebrow. "Personal?"

"Yes," Paul said, his tone darkening. "It’s about Mili."

Ishan's expression hardened slightly, though he remained composed. "What about her?"

Paul took a step closer, his voice low but intense. "I know everything about you, Ishan. I know what you've done. And I’m here to take Mili away from you."

Ishan's eyes flickered with anger, but he kept his voice calm. "Mili is my legal wife now. You have no right to take her anywhere."

Paul smirked, undeterred. "We'll see about that. You see, this party is just the beginning. I have a plan, and it ends with you losing everything."

Ishan's phone call ended, and he slipped it back into his pocket. "Mili is with me now, Paul. Legally and rightfully. I won’t let her go."

A cold war had begun between two powerful men, each determined to claim Mili for themselves. The tension was electric, a silent battle of wills that everyone at the party could sense. Paul and Ishan were like two opposing forces, each unwilling to back down.

Paul seized the moment, taking Ishan into a private room. He closed the door behind them, the click of the lock echoing ominously.

"Ishan," Paul began, his voice steely. "I have something to show you."

Paul pulled out a folder, filled with documents and photographs. "This is everything I’ve gathered about you," he said, spreading the evidence across the table. "Your shady business deals, your underhanded tactics. You think you’re untouchable, but I’m here to prove you wrong."

Ishan's eyes scanned the documents, his face an unreadable mask. "Impressive," he said coolly. "But you forget, Paul. I’m always one step ahead."

Paul’s jaw tightened. "You’re a criminal, Ishan. And I have enough evidence to destroy you. I’ll expose everything unless you let Mili go."
