What a BAND!

I strode into the office, pulling down my face mask with a yawn.

I glared at my manager. "What's up? Why did you call me at 5:00 in the morning and demand I be here?"

"Well, Izuku," Aizawa returned the glare. "I have signed you up for a competition."

I sat down and sighed. "Okay, but why did you need to tell me at 5 o'clock in the morning?"

I paused and thought for a moment. "Wait, there's only one competition coming up, and it's not a solo one." I stared at Aizawa.

"I have signed you with a band. They're not well known, so you'll be getting in with your fame alone," Aizawa said, giving me a tired look as he brought his coffee cup to his mouth.

"WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?" I yelled.

"Izuku, you need something new. Something to make you stand out. You need a band, one that suits you."

"I have played with bands before... why are you pushing this now?"

"Because, problem child, after your mum left, you haven't been yourself. You need to be pushed, so here is your challenge." Aizawa downed his coffee.

My body fell back into the chair as I sighed. It was true, as much as I was happy she was starting another chapter of her life, I felt like I wasn't in it.

Aizawa's eyes softened slightly as he looked at me. "Listen, Izuku, this band could be a great opportunity for you. They have potential, but they need someone like you to bring them to the next level. And maybe, just maybe, you need them too."

I rubbed my temples, trying to process everything. "Who are they?"

Aizawa pulled out a folder from his desk and handed it to me. "They're called 'Midnight Harmony.' Take a look."

I flipped through the pictures in the folder, scanning the faces of my new bandmates.

My eyes widened as I recognized them one by one.

The guitarist with vibrant pink hair was Mina Ashido, her cheerful smile instantly bringing back memories. The bassist, Denki Kaminari, grinned and waved enthusiastically. The guitarist, Eijiro Kirishima, looked determined as ever. And the drummer, Katsuki Bakugo, stood with his usual scowl.

"Recognize them?" Aizawa asked, noticing my expression.

"Yeah," I said, a mix of surprise and nostalgia in my voice. "It's Mina, Kaminari, Kirishima, and Bakugo."

"Small world, huh?" Aizawa remarked, sipping his coffee. "They've been playing together for a while, but they need a strong lead to bring it all together. That's where you come in."

I laughed at that.

"Why whats funny" Aizawa asked.

I pulled back my laughed "There is no way that asshole is going to listen to me" I pointed at Bakugos picture.

Aizawa raised an eyebrow, looking amused. "Well, that's part of the challenge, isn't it? You have to find a way to work together, despite any differences."

I chuckled. "Yeah, I guess you're right. It's just been a while since I've dealt with Bakugo.""Just remember," Aizawa said, a hint of seriousness in his tone, "you're the lead singer. You set the tone for the band. If Bakugo doesn't listen, it's on him."

"And what if I say no?" I ask raising an eyebrow.

Aizawa leaned back in his chair, studying me for a moment. "If you say no, Izuku, then that's your decision. But remember why you're here in the first place. You need something new, a challenge to push yourself forward. This band could be that opportunity."

I sighed, running a hand through my hair. "I know, Aizawa. It's just... dealing with Bakugo again brings back a lot of memories."

"It's understandable," Aizawa replied, his tone softening. "But sometimes, facing those memories is what helps us grow. You don't have to be best friends with Bakugo, but finding a way to work together could be beneficial for both of you."

I nodded uneasily, "Okay, I'll give it a shot. But if things don't work out with Bakugo..."

"We'll cross that bridge when we come to it," Aizawa said, giving me a reassuring nod. "For now, focus on the music and making this band the best it can be."

I stood and left Aizawa's office, heading to my studio.

As I walked, thoughts about working with Bakugo again filled my mind. I chuckled to myself.

"This will actually be fun," I thought. "I'm not that little cinnamon roll I used to be."

Aizawa sent me a text confirming that the band would arrive at eight.

I nodded to myself, noting that it would give me enough time to finish and record my latest song.

The other day
Your mood was swinging, thought you needed space
I took a drive and stayed out of the way for you
But one day turned to three
Then three into a week
And I'm starting to think that

You're somewhere in the middle of the black and the white
You're growing non-committal, I can see it in your eyes
And I don't know how and I don't know why
But my eyes they rain, got a cloudy mind

"Sound the alarm", the weatherman is screaming
"There's a storm, it's coming, I can feel it"
The trees are barely moving and the birds are hardly singing
The leaves have left the branches, now I know you're really leaving

My voice filled the sound box I was in as I sung, images of my mothers smile that I wouldn't get to see every morning filled my mind and my emotions that I fought hightened the lyrics.

Ooh, ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh
Ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh
Ooh, ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh
Ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh

The other dayI'll admit that I was out of place
But I just think you went and blew it way out of proportion
Lost sight of what's importantYou couldn't find a reason to escape
And so you forced it

I remembered my parents constant fights and how in the end when my father up and left, he left hole in the family that wasn't that hard to fill over the many years ago that he hadn't been present.

I allowed the tears to roll down my face, gosh I felt guilty for wishing my mum never left. I hated how I wished my father didn't leave.

Ooh, ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh
Ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh
Ooh, ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh
Ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh

"Sound the alarm", the weatherman is screaming
"There's a storm, it's coming, I can feel it"
The trees are barely moving and the birds are hardly singing
The leaves have left the branches, now I know you're really leaving

Ooh, ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh
Ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh

You're really leaving

Ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh
You're leaving (oh, ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh)
Ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh
Ooh, ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh
Ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh

As the song faded I sighed wiping the tears from my closed eyes and removing the headphones from my ears leaving them around my neck.

I opened my eyes and locked with a crimison gaze I thought I would never see again.

Katsuki Bakugo.

Here, I was going to add the song in above but idk about you guys but I hate it when authors are like here listen to this then have what the singer is feeling whilst they sing so the song and lyrics don't fit.

Pet HATE. Seriously.

So here is the song.

Also Im sorry for like jumping in head first.
