The next morning, Lin Yu woke up early, determined to improve his Qi manipulation.
He decided to find a quieter spot to practice, away from the bustling training grounds.

Following the map Mei Lan had given him, he ventured deeper into the sect, eventually finding a secluded courtyard surrounded by bamboo groves. As he began his exercises, he heard footsteps approaching.

Turning around, he saw Xu Wei entering the courtyard. The senior disciple’s presence was imposing yet calm, his movements graceful and controlled.

“I see you’re practicing early,” Xu Wei remarked, his voice deep and steady. “It’s a good habit to cultivate.”

"Hello Senior wei"Lin Yu bowed respectfully.

“Yes, I’m trying to improve my Qi manipulation.”Xu Wei nodded, his eyes scanning Lin Yu with an unreadable expression.

“Show me,” he instructed.Feeling a bit nervous, Lin Yu began his exercises, focusing on his breathing and the flow of Qi through his body. Despite his best efforts, his control was still shaky.

Xu Wei stepped closer, his presence almost tangible. “Your stance is too rigid,” he said, gently adjusting Lin Yu’s posture.

“Relax your shoulders and focus on the energy flow, not just the movements.”Lin Yu followed Xu Wei’s instructions, feeling a noticeable improvement in his Qi flow.

Xu Wei’s proximity was both comforting and unnerving, his touch sending a strange warmth through Lin Yu’s body.

“Better,” Xu Wei said, stepping back. “You have potential, Lin Yu. With time and dedication, you will improve.”

“Thank you, Senior Xu Wei,” Lin Yu replied, grateful for the guidance. As Xu Wei turned to leave, he paused and looked back at Lin Yu.

“If you need help, you can find me here in the mornings,” he offered, his expression softening slightly.

Lin Yu nodded, feeling a strange mix of gratitude and anticipation. The encounter with Xu Wei had sparked something within him, a desire to not only improve but to understand the enigmatic senior disciple.

As days passed, Lin Yu took Xu Wei up on his offer, meeting him in the secluded courtyard for early morning practice.

Their sessions were intense but rewarding, and Lin Yu began to see noticeable improvements in his Qi manipulation.

More importantly, he felt a growing connection with Xu Wei, their interactions filled with unspoken understanding and respect. One morning, after a particularly grueling session, Xu Wei handed Lin Yu a small wooden token.

“Take this to the inner library,” he instructed. “It will grant you access to some advanced texts that might help you.”Lin Yu accepted the token, his heart swelling with gratitude.

“Thank you, Senior Xu Wei. I won’t let you down.”Xu Wei’s lips curved into a rare, slight smile.
“I know you won’t,” he replied, his eyes reflecting a depth of emotion that left Lin Yu both curious and hopeful.

As Lin Yu made his way to the inner library, he couldn’t help but feel that his journey at the Blue Moon Sect was just beginning.
The path ahead was filled with challenges, but with Xu Wei’s guidance and his own determination, he was ready to face whatever came his way.
