Lei Ming sighed deeply as he glanced at the clock on his office wall.

The digits glowed a glaring 7:45 PM, far past the end of his official workday.

The skyline of Beijing was illuminated in the background, the bustling city never seeming to sleep, much like him lately.
His desk was cluttered with architectural plans, blueprints, and his laptop, which still displayed a half-finished presentation.
"Another late night," he muttered to himself, rubbing his tired eyes.As an architect at one of Beijing's top firms, Lei Ming's life was a whirlwind of deadlines, client meetings, and last-minute project changes.

While he loved his job and the creative satisfaction it brought, the constant pressure was beginning to take its toll.
His personal life had taken a backseat to his career, and he couldn't remember the last time he had a proper break.
"I need to get out of here," he decided, shutting his laptop and gathering his belongings. "Maybe a walk will clear my head."
Leaving the office building, Lei Ming felt the cool evening breeze against his face. The streets of Beijing were alive with activity, people hurrying home, street vendors selling their wares, and the ever-present hum of traffic.
He decided to take a detour through one of the older parts of the city, an area that had always fascinated him with its blend of history and tradition amidst the modern metropolis.
