Ming woke up with a start. The world around him seemed vastly different from the modern Beijing he was accustomed to.
The bustling cityscape, filled with skyscrapers and the constant hum of traffic, was replaced by a serene yet unfamiliar landscape.
He found himself lying on a straw mat in a small wooden hut, the air thick with the scent of herbs and the sounds of nature seeping through the thin walls."Where am I?" Lei Ming muttered, sitting up and trying to get his bearings.
He glanced around the modest room, noticing the simple yet functional furniture—a wooden table, a few chairs, and shelves lined with various jars and scrolls. His attention was drawn to the large mirror on the opposite wall.
He stood and approached it, feeling a strange sense of trepidation. As he peered into the mirror, the reflection staring back at him was not his own.Instead of Lei Ming, a young man with delicate features, long black hair, and traditional Chinese robes stood in his place."This can't be real," Lei Ming whispered, touching his face and seeing the reflection mimic his movements.
"I must be dreaming."He pinched himself hard, but the pain was very real. Panic started to rise within him as he realized that this was not a dream.
The last thing he remembered after putting the pendent I slept( pendant that he bought from the antique shop).Somehow, he had been transported into another world—a world that resembled ancient China but felt different, as if it were infused with a mystical energy.
He still have this pendent, so this must be because of this pendent that i am here.
(What will i do, panicccc, shall I break this pendent no! No! ,Can i return 😫 maybe no.... Except my boss I don't think anyone will remember me)
"Lin Yu!" a voice called from outside the hut, snapping Lei Ming out of his thoughts.(lin yu! Maybe the name of this body )
The door creaked open, and a young boy about twelve years old entered. He had an earnest look on his face and was carrying a bundle of firewood.
"Lin Yu, Master is calling for you. You need to hurry," the boy said, looking slightly worried."Lin Yu?" Lei Ming repeated, realizing that must be his new identity. "Who's Master?"The boy looked confused for a moment. (🧐)
"Master Zhang, of course. He has important news and needs to see you right away."Lei Ming nodded, trying to keep his growing anxiety in check.
"Lead the way," he said, deciding it was best to go along with whatever was happening until he could figure things out.
As they walked through the village, Lei Ming took in his surroundings. The village was a quaint, picturesque place with traditional wooden houses, cobblestone paths, and lush greenery. Villagers were bustling about, tending to their daily chores, and children were playing happily in the fields. However, there was an underlying aura of something magical in the air—an energy that seemed to pulse gently through everything. They arrived at a larger house at the center of the village.
The boy knocked on the door, and a moment later, an elderly man with a long white beard and piercing eyes opened it.
This must be Master Zhang, Lei Ming thought."Lin yu(original body name) , come in," Master Zhang said, his voice deep and commanding. "We have much to discuss."(Yup we have I think...will he know that i am not real lin ming)Lei Ming entered the house, feeling a mix of curiosity and nervousness. The interior was filled with books, scrolls, and strange artifacts that he couldn't quite identify. Master Zhang gestured for him to sit at a low table, and they both settled down."Lin Yu, you have always been a diligent student," Master Zhang began, looking at Lei Ming intently. "But today, I sense something different about you."Lei Ming gulped. He had no idea what Lin Yu's personality or abilities were supposed to be, so he decided to be as honest as possible without revealing too much. "Master, I feel… different today. Like I've awakened to something new."Master Zhang nodded slowly, his eyes narrowing. "Interesting. Perhaps this is the will of the heavens. I have called you here because our village is in need of your skills. A darkness is spreading in the nearby forest, and strange creatures have been sighted. We need you to investigate and, if possible, put an end to this menace."
"Me? Investigate the forest?" Lei Ming asked, trying to keep the shock out of his voice."Yes," Master Zhang replied firmly. "You are one of the most promising cultivators in our village, and your spiritual energy is unique. I believe you have the potential to succeed where others have failed."
Cultivator? Spiritual energy? Lei Ming felt a rush of confusion but kept his expression as neutral as possible. "I will do my best, Master," (Heck i have to,not an easy world...ah!)
he said, bowing his head slightly.Master Zhang smiled, a hint of pride in his eyes. "Good. Prepare yourself and set out at first light. May the heavens watch over you, Lin Yu."Lei Ming left Master Zhang’s house with a sense of determination and a thousand questions swirling in his mind.As he made his way back to the hut, he realized he had a lot to learn about this new world and his new identity. But one thing was clear: if he wanted to survive and possibly find a way back home, he needed to embrace this new role and discover the secrets of cultivation.(😖😖🥺😤)
Back at the hut, Lei Ming searched through Lin Yu’s belongings, hoping to find something that would help him understand more about this world. He found a set of cultivation manuals and began to read, trying to absorb as much information as possible. The manuals spoke of harnessing spiritual energy, refining one’s body and mind, and achieving extraordinary powers through rigorous training and meditation. As night fell, Lei Ming sat cross-legged on the straw mat, attempting to follow the instructions in the manual. He closed his eyes and focused, trying to sense the spiritual energy Master Zhang had mentioned. To his surprise, he felt a faint, warm glow within him, like a gentle current flowing through his veins."So, this is spiritual energy," he murmured, feeling a mix of awe and determination.(🤩) "If I’m going to survive here, I need to master this." (Or I am a goner that's for sure)
The night was long, but Lei Ming didn’t stop practicing. He knew that tomorrow’s journey into the forest would be dangerous, and he needed to be as prepared as possible. As dawn approached, he felt a sense of accomplishment—he had taken his first steps into the world of cultivation. With the first light of morning, Lei Ming stood at the edge of the village, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead. He took a deep breath and set off towards the forest, determined to protect the village and uncover the mysteries of this new world.
