Prapai flopped down to the solid ground as soon as Porsche told him training was over.

They had been training him for the last four days, it is given that his- Prapai Theerapanyakun's body would have muscle memory, but Prapai Patheera's mind is contradicting it which is why they are training him to get used to such 'violence'. Even his shooting practice that was being guided by 'Uncle' Pete, it was so new to Pai. Well he did have experience holding a gun but not as intensive as they are making him to do. He had been to a shooting range before and he had only ever held a hand gun. Here they were making him use all sorts of weapons.

"Are you still okay?" Venice sat down beside him.

"Yeah, just mentally tired." He answered. Venice had been a silent support beside him, giving him tips and pointers as Porsche trained him in close combat. They had even given him a knife to fight an unarmed Porsche once which he vehemently refused only to be threatened to be removed from operations if he didn't do it. At first he didn't get why they would make him use a knife against a man who was supposed to be his father but he quickly realized why. Porsche was too good. He's fast, and the way he moved was deadly. Not to mention even his Uncle Pete who had become a proxy for Porsche when he had an important meeting was unmerciful when training him.

Prapai's body was fit and definitely had the stamina needed to endure such rigorous training.

"You know..." Pai started.

"Hm?" Venice hummed.

"Have you ever thought of ever finding someone to be with you? Someone to settle with?"

"No. Not really. Well actually I did have a few serious relationships but none really lasted long enough for me to consider them my life partner. You know what business my family runs. And most of the time, they really only wanted to be with me for either money, fame or connections." Venice looked a bit annoyed when telling him the reason.

"Ah, you're not that different from the Phayu I knew then. Only... He did find someone who fits him perfectly. Someone who completed him." Pai said while smiling a bit.

"Who?" Venice asked as if he didn't already know who Prapai was talking about. He had the gist of what was happening with the version of Phayu from Prapai's world.

Prapai sighed looking at Venice in the eyes as if asking 'Really?'

"Fine, why, and who is this 'Rain' then? How did he, or how does he manage to complete me- I mean, Phayu?" Venice raised one eyebrow at that.

"Well, first of all, it wasn't N'Rain that approached him first. It was Phayu himself." At that, Venice looked at Prapai incredulously. No way was he someone who would approach someone first.

"Don't give me that look. Phayu- my bestfriend, as I said, was like you. He didn't really like commitment after he went through the same thing over and over again. He's quite famous when we were in Uni, he was called the God of the Architecture Department or something. As you know, fame comes with a lot of cons. He had a few relationships but ultimately failed since they all just love the idea of dating him and not really loving him."

At that Venice understood how Phayu would have felt since he had gone through the exact same thing.

"Why pursue Rain then?" Venice asked.

At that Pai smiled remembering how Phayu told him about the Nong he helped one rainy night. How Phayu tried to look up who the boy was by trying to look up his car's plate number.

He told Venice what Phayu had told him, how he and Rain got together and then how he saw Phayu become happier with the addition of Rain into his life.

Venice looked like he was contemplating. Processing the story he was told about.
