Prapai was wheeled into an operating room.
His consciousness kept coming and going, he knew was being taken to a hospital and was inside the operating room. A minute after he fell into the darkness once more.
"A through and through gunshot wound, he's lost a lot of blood, prepare a transfusion." The doctor began.
The operation went for hours, Prapai's heart stopped multiple times during surgery.
~Somewhere~
Prapai walked through hall after hall of what looked like a museum, only... The walls were all white. And the pictures or paintings were both familiar and not.
Then he heard another set of footsteps coming from the other side.
He walked faster until he reached the center only to be met by someone who looked exactly like him.
"Prapai Theerapanyakun?" He tried. The other nodded in confirmation.
"Prapai Patheera then?" He also nodded.
"Why are we here?" He asked.
"I know for a fact that I may or may not be going through a surgery." Prapai answered.
Pai frowned at that.
"Why?" Pai asked.
"Got shot protecting my S- I mean, Sky." Prapai corrected himself.
"How? I also got shot while protecting my Sky."
There was a few minutes of silence as they contemplated the information. They both knew what could happen exactly.
They might be returning to their reality real soon.
"Wanna take a look around?" Prapai suggested. Pai just gestured for Prapai to take the lead.
They walked through the halls together sharing stories for each photograph, and then they got to where Pai had met Sky from his reality. Pai couldn't stop smiling. He would never get tired of telling their story to others.
"You seem happy." Prapai commented.
"Because I am. I am living with the love of my life, and he loves me the same way I love him. Although he doesn;t really let me spoil him too much. I would give the world if he wanted to." Pai's smile just widened even more.
They walked through every key memory Pai had with Sky, then the accident, the swap and how he found Sky once more even in a world he wasn;t familiar with.
"How can you love someone so much? Even through worlds you still love him unconditionally." Pai looked at his counterpart straight in the eye this time.
"Because Sky is my soulmate. He's the only one for me. Nothing could ever change that. Be it going to another world, or anything at all. I will always find my love. I will always find my way to him. No matter what version of him there is, I will love him fully." Pai said.
"Must be nice being so positive when it comes to love. I can never be like you-"
"Wrong." Pai interrupted.
"What?"
"Earlier, you were going to call Sky, 'my Sky' just as how I call him."
"No, that was because of your memories and latent feelings inside your body-" Prapai shook his head.
"We're clearly not inside each other's body now are we?" This made Prapai pause.
"No, I can never love anyone-"
