Venice thought of what Prapai had told him. He actually had someone, not here per se, but in another world, there was actually someone for him.
Venice wondered, was it really that easy? Once you find that certain someone? Everything would just fit together?
Maybe I'll be able to find him here as well.
Venice truly believed he would never find someone to settle with, because he knew someone like his pa, uncle porsche and uncle chay were rare. It was only his father and uncles' luck that they found such men for themselves. So when Prapai from the other world told him that the Phayu there found someone, he couldn't believe it and as much as he hated to admit it, he felt the slightest bit of jealousy.
'Why can't I have that? How come some version of me gets to have what I want?'
Rain admits he likes how handsome Venice is but that doesn't really mean he liked the idea of being with him. Yes the man did saved him and Sky with the help of P'Pai, but Venice was too cold for his liking. Rain knew no one would actually be able to handle his way too energetic side, well except for Sky. But Sky is like his brother in every sense of the word. So why is it that the more he tries to get away from the man, the more he falls for him? Maybe it was the subtle things, Venice may look cold but he always seemed to know what Rain needs.
'Should I really be feeling this way? Am I even allowed to love him?'
