Side Story 5: Duality Part 1

Venice didn't know how long he was unconscious, he only knew that he was dreaming.

It has to be a dream. Because he is currently hugging Rain tightly and the other was looking up at him with eyes shining with the sweetest smile directed at him.

But most of all, it was the way he was calling him that finally got Venice to realize what he was seeing.

"P'Phayu, I love you na~" Rain's voice was so sweet and gente, Venice wanted to hear it for life.

Then there was a shift of scene, Venice now stood behind Rain, his arms wrapped around his middle and his head leaning on the younger's shoulder.

"Do you think Sky will be okay now Phi?" Rain turned to face him. Venice- Phayu planted a gentle kiss on the boy's lips before responding.

"They will be, my Sweet boy. I know Pai will make Nong Sky happy." He tightened his hug on the younger boy.

Venice could feel the emotions going through Phayu, and he swore it was the best feeling he ever had. Not even when he fell for Meek, or for the other boys he had dated.

It's like breathing fresh air for the first time in a long while.

Rain felt, more than saw what he thought was Venice but he called him P'Phayu, hugging him from behind before tenderly setting a kiss on his head.

He turned to look up at the older man.

"How is my sweet boy doing?" Phayu had asked.

"I'm fine Phi, Sky was nagging me earlier because I still haven't started my projects yet." Rain could feel himself pouting.

"Ah~ Now why have you still not started it? Are you being a naughty boy then?" Phayu frowned but was not really angry.

"No Phi. I just got distracted by the new song my favorite kpop group released."

"Now we can't have that. You will be starting your project today okay? I'll guide you." Phayu smiled gently, kissing Rain gently at first before it became more passionate.

Then the scene changed, now Rain was standing beside Sky looking at Phayu and Prapai who were talking to each other.

"Are you okay now Sky?" Rain asked.

"Yeah, I am, Rain. P'Pai's been so good to me." Rain could see Sky's smile which made him smile as well.

"We really got lucky with our Phis huh?" Rain asked, giggling.

"Yes we did. They're like a miracle." Sky answered in a whisper.

Rain stared at Phayu who was smiling at what Prapai had said. He could feel the emotion this version of Rain was feeling. It was like it was resonating within him.

When Phayu's eyes met him, it was like he's not looking at the Phayu that was the lover of this Rain but Venice. His eyes were darker but there was warmth in it.

A warmth that Rain had never seen on Venice's eyes and it was accompanied by what he could only tell as longing.

When Venice woke up, it was only a few hours after the incident, and he almost cried when he realized that the warmth and emotions he felt from his dream were gone.

There was that very same void he could practically feel.

When he went to Rain's hospital room, he found the boy sitting on the bed and crying his eyes out. Venice ran to his side and hugged the boy tightly.
