Venice parked his bike by the University entrance and waited for Rain who had been the one to go back to their Uni in order to submit his and Sky's project that was due for that day since Sky's still on edge from everything that has happened.

He had actually talked to the University administration to get permission for both boys to be able to attend classes online and only show themselves physically when submitting their projects. The kidnapping wasn't a secret since it happened right in front of the campus.

When he saw Rain walking out of the campus practically surrounded by his friends like someone's still out to get him. He could even see Rain rolling his eyes at his friends but still smiled.

"P'Phayu..." Sig waied when he saw him.

Rain's smile fell from his face when he saw Venice.

"Are you here to pick Rain up?" Ple asked while she also waied at him.

"Yes, I have something to talk to Nong." Venice gave them a genuine smile, appreciating their effort on keeping Rain safe. Surprisingly, Rain didn't say anything and just went with him.

Venice had taken Rain to his house outside of the compound. Rain looked around as they entered.

"Why are we here Khun?" Rain finally spoke once they were inside the house.

"Please sit down first Nong." Venice said, gesturing to the sofa. Rain just followed what he said and remained silent waiting for his response.

Venice breathed in and out before finally speaking.

"I brought you here today because I wanted to talk to you privately and uninterrupted." He started, Rain looked at him confused.

"What do you need to tell me Khun?"

"I wanted to apologize, Nong."

"You don't need to–"

"Please just let me finish first." Venice knelt down in front of Rain taking the younger's hand in his he looked up to Rain trying to capture his eyes with his.

"Please look at me..." It took a minute before Rain's eyes finally met his pleading ones.

"I want you to know that I'm sorry. I'm sorry for behaving like I did. I'm sorry for confusing you. I'm sorry for ever hurting you. I hope you can forgive me, Rain." Venice paused, looking for any kind of response in Rain's eyes.

"May I tell you my story?" Venice kept Rain's eyes on him, Rain slowly nodded his head.

Rain stayed silent, wanting to know why Venice would go to such an extent just to apologize to him.

"As you know, I am one of the heirs to Thailand's largest and most powerful Mafia Family. But back when we were younger, no one knew about our connection with the Theerapanyakun Family. You see, our parents, both Prapai's and my parents, wanted us to have the normality that other kids had growing up. When we were in our first year of high school, Prapai and I met two boys..." Venice looked down for a bit and breathed out again before looking back to Rain's eyes which were still looking straight at him.

"You have to know that before we met these two boys, we've already had experience when it came to physical intimacy, but never with love. Prapai and I had always wanted to have what our parents had. So when we met these two boys, we fell quite fast for them. Since everything went too fast our parents were quite skeptical about our relationships, but they still respected our decisions and didn't have their backgrounds checked.

His name was Meek. The boy I fell in love with. At first, he was a gentle and obedient boy, I loved him... I had given almost everything he wanted, aside from introducing him to the mafia side of me. I didn't want to scare him away... Then as the months went by, he changed, he became obsessed with the idea of being my boyfriend. He didn't see me anymore, he saw me as Phayu. The Phayu that everyone likes, the famous image that people made of me. He pushed and pushed for me to introduce him to Dad and Pa, then I finally had enough when he even went as far as stalking me trying to find out where I actually lived. At that time Pai and I had been staying at Uncle Kim's old condo so as you may have guessed, there were many security measures in place."

Rain stayed quiet, as if absorbing everything he was telling him.

"I broke up with him. It wasn't my last try in finding the love my parents had, but it happened, again and again... and again... Until I just had enough and decided that maybe I was just not meant to find that kind of love." Venice saw something flash through Rain's for a split second, he didn't know what it was but there was something.

"Since then I had never tried to even start a relationship with anyone else, sure I've had one night stands and all, but that's just it. Just a physical need. Then, you came. Well, more like I found you? Have you ever thought about why I had bid for you that night? We had been strictly instructed that we will not be bidding for anyone that night."

"Then why did you?" Rain bit his lower lip now looking down on their still joined hands.

"I honestly didn't know. But that night, when I saw you, I just knew I couldn't let anyone else have you. I'd rather get you out of there and set you free." Venice pulled their joined hands to his lips before pressing his lips to Rain's hand.

"At that time, there were too many things happening at once. I wanted to help you, but I also knew I shouldn't let myself get closer to you. I know that it doesn't make sense. I was confused, I didn't know what I wanted."

"Then you were kidnapped, and everything was a mess once again. I thought that by distancing myself from you, you will be safe. And I will be able to just follow through with it, but I couldn't. I always find myself looking for you."

"Yesterday, I talked to Pa. He has helped me realize what I've been feeling..." Venice let go of Rain's hands in favor of cupping the younger man's face and making him face him.

"I am in love with you, Rain. I have been since the moment I saw you. I was just too stubborn to accept what I was- am feeling. I love you, and I know I would do anything to make you happy, if you would let me..." Venice confessed, Rain's eyes widened at the unabashed feelings he could feel coming from Venice's eyes.

"Love? You love me?" Rain whispered.

"I do. I really do. And I am here in front of you, asking for a chance. A chance to prove my love for you. Please Rain... Please let me show you how much I love you..." Venice didn't care if he looked pathetic or desperate. All he knew was that he would beg if Rain wanted him to.

"But Kh- Phi... Y-You were so cold to me-" Rain's eyes were full of confusion, hurt and something else...

"Yes, Phi had been stupid enough to hurt you... Can you please forgive me? Please give Phi a chance... I vow to make you happy... the happiest you'll ever be..." Rain looked on to him.

When Rain raised his own hands, cupping Venice's face, his thumbs wiped on what could only be Venice's tears.

He was crying and he didn't know he actually was.

"I forgive you Phi. But please give me more time..." Rain's answer was enough for now.

"Can I hug you?" Venice asked, making Rain smile before he knelt as well pulling Venice into a hug.

"No more tears Phi. I know you're handsome even when crying but stop crying na?" Rain's response made Venice chuckle.

It may not be a completely positive response, but that's enough for Venice.

Rain forgave him for his stupidity. He just hoped Rain would consider him...

I will show you how much I love you, you will never doubt how important you are to me...
