Amber POV

"Gasped! Huff! Huff!" I woke up feeling distressed, and I am very confused because my eyes are open but I can't see a thing.

Could it be...?

"Eh, I'm blind again!!" I shouted.

"My lady! You're awake!" I heard Gesine's voice, and I was startled when she suddenly hugged me. "Oh, my lady! I was so worried about you! Where have you been all this time?!" She's crying, but she's scolding at me at the same time. I was going to hug her back, but she let go of me. "Gosh! My lady! You're such a trouble!" she scolds me while she keeps pinching both my cheeks. "Ouch! That hurts! I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" I cried.

"I just left you for a matter of time, and then you've got into a big mess?! I swear to God! You've been a troublemaker!" now she nags.

Haha! I guess I deserved to be nagged at. Ever since I got here, I've made decisions for myself without hesitation. It's just that I felt free here.

"And now, you're causing more trouble for your brother!" she said.

"Huh? What about it?" I asked cluelessly.

"Prince Gwydion is rebelling against your father because he wants to throw away the unknown child you brought here." I got alarmed by what she said. "Cleon? Where is he?!" I said as I got out of bed. "What? They're already taking him out. My lady, just lay down! You need rest!" she said.

"I can't rest, Gesine! I will not let father do as he wishes!" I said in a serious tone. "My lady!" Gesine called me as I got out of my room.

Even though I'm blind, I still know where I'm headed. I will not let them throw away Cleon! There's a reason he showed up.

Because I just remembered that he's the character that I never gave a chance to be part of my novel.

*Slam!*

"Father!" I shouted as I barged inside my father's office.

"Little sis! You're awake!" I heard Gwydion's voice, as was the voice of our head butler.

"That's right! And I'm here to rebel with you, brother!" I said confidently while I kept my head up.

"Why, princess! Have some respect for your own father!" I suddenly got annoyed when I heard the voice of the head butler. "Shut your old filthy mouth, Dolion!" I shouted at him, then I intensely approached Father's desk.

"Listen here, King Calixtus! If you were so great, you should listen to your own children first! Not this old fart Dolion!" I started to get furious.

"Hey! That's absurd!" Dolion said.

"My lady!" I heard Gesine's voice as she barged in too.

"I thought you didn't care about me and what I do, so don't dare throw away what belongs to me! If you want to demand something from your children, and before you judge something, you should get to know us first! Because you will never be a role model for your children if you keep spitting dumb traditional ways in royalty! Saying hating you and treating us like pawns will make us tough; yeah, alright, we'll be tough, but we will never ever honour your name!"
