The Goddess Rewrites a Tale

TGRT : PROLOGUE

"Wah! I finally finished revising the chapters!" I said in a voice of relief while stretching my arms in front of my laptop. "And now, it is time to update my masterpiece!" I sat firmly and began to type on the keyboard while clicking my mouse excitedly.

I finally updated my novel. I inhaled, then closed both my eyes to make myself feel relaxed. "Oh! Finally! No more meeting deadlines for this week." I exhaled.

"Sister Tancy!" I was startled and almost fell off my chair when Cassidy appeared at my office door. "Cassidy! What brings you here?" I asked while I was standing up and relaxing my heartbeat. "Ahehe! Sorry! I was just passing by your house, and then it notified me on my phone that you updated your novel. I just got excited!" she said joyously while giggling.

"Sigh. Do you really love my current novel that much?" I sighed while walking to my bookshelves. "Oh! Yes! I love my sister Tancy Enid's novels! It's full of beautiful wonders and life mysteries!" she exclaimed, animating her words. "It can't be helped."

I reached for my brown book on the top of my bookshelves and handed it out to Cassidy, "Here, it's yours." I said while she stared cluelessly at the book, "What's this?" She innocently took my brown book and opened it.

"Eh?! This is..." she said, looking at me with surprised eyes. "This is your original copy of your current novel!" she shrieked, and I nodded at her confidently. "You're giving it to me? It's even handwritten!" she shrieks again with excitement, then she becomes flustered when she hears me laugh. "Are you sure about this?", she said while she's trying to calm herself 

"Yes."

"But your novel is still ongoing ...how are--"

"It's fine. The content of that novel was still preserved in my mind. I was not named "The Wonder of Literacy" for nothing.", I said proudly, with a little bit of bragging tone. "Yes! That is true! "You're a goddess!" she said with a teary eye while I chuckled.

This high school girl is my aspiring writer, Cassidy. Like me, she loves writing stories and dreams to be an author, just like me. She told me that she looked up to me, so I took her as my apprentice. That's that.

"Wah! I'm going to Aizen's apartment so that we can read this masterpiece together.", she said  happily while hugging my book. "Oh? So the two of you are getting along now, hmm?" I teased her, and her face flushed. "It's not like that! He's the one who's acting weird, so I got mad at him!" I laughed at her denial statement while she pouted at me. "Alright,alright! Go to him now; he might feel lonely for not having you with him within a minute."

"Sister Tancy! Don't get the wrong idea!" she screams, her arms flapping like a bird in embarrassment. "Go on, I bet he's really waiting for you," I said while I slowly pushed her back. " Okay! Okay! But remember this sister Tancy: to repay all your hard work for me...", she turned around and declared, "I'm going to be a successful author like you! And I will surprise you!", she puts her right arm on her chest, and seeing her determination made me feel happy.

"Yes, Cassidy. I will wait for your debut as an author, but always remember that I was already proud and happy for you." I smiled genuinely and patted her head until I touched her right cheek. I was taken aback when she unexpectedly embraced me; I smiled again and embraced her back. She let go of hugging me, and I saw her happy and motivated expression.

"You're really the best! Sister Tancy! A goddess!" she smiles, with the brightest smile that made me feel so nostalgic about the day we met. "Haha! Go now and tell Aizen to take care of you." I said, and she nodded gladly. She eventually left, leaving pleasant memories in both my heart and mind.

I heard my phone's message tone, and her message gave me a bad impression. I pick out my brown coat and my sling bag, then leave my peaceful house, not knowing it will be my last.

*Screech!*

*Booogsh!*

Where am I? 

Ah... It's so dark and cold...

"I'm not responsible for your life now."

"Do whatever you want... don't bother us."

That's  my... parents.

"Haha! Let us just leave the work to you, miss Enid."

"She won't be able to refuse us...her conscience won't take it...hahaha!"

Ah... my stingy colleagues.

"Oh? Tancy Enid? I can't believe a weirdo like her become successful."

"I bet she just plagiarized her works."

Sigh...

They're so stingy and stupid.

"I'm sorry, Tancy... this will be our final meeting ."

Lina...

Why?

"Sister Tancy! I will be as successful as you! So keep inspiring people, okay?"

Cassidy?

Ugh. It's so bright...

Wait! Cassidy!

What's this? Why I feel strange? Why everything seems to be in pitch black?

"What happened?" I flinched when I heard my voice, then I touched my neck and felt that my neck was small, as were my hands. I touched my whole body, and to my surprise, I think my body shrank! But why does my voice sound different? It's like a child's voice! And why can't I see anything but pitch black? What exactly happened to me?

"Lady Amber? Are you awake?", I heard a woman's voice from my right side, it was a faint voice so I guess it was coming from the other side

Wait! What did she just called me?!

"I'm going in, Lady Amber."

What?! Lady Amber?! 

This is not happening!!
