Amber POV
"Gosh! My Lady, what a mess you made!" Gesine scolds me as she showers me to get all the mud off of me.
"Haha! It's still a mistake to trust the other maids." I laughed at my stubbornness. "That's not a laughing matter,my lady! What if you got hurt? How many times do I have to tell you that don't go anywhere without me?" Gesine was really worried there and pissed off.
Yeah. I got bullied again by the maids, and it was my mistake. I'm just trying to enjoy myself in the garden when one of the maids tells me that there's a pond, but then I end up on a muddy, puddled pond.
Well, let's just keep it a naive and foolish image for Amber's remains, although it's completely my fault. Hehehe!
"You're clean now, my lady. Don't get messy again. It's inappropriate for a lady." Gesine really sounds pissed off, and I might just obey her for now. "Hehe. Alright, I'll dress up now," I said as I got out of my bathroom. "Now, I just want comfy clothes." I was trying to find something to wear in my wardrobe, and I was grasping every piece of clothing.
"Ugh! Why are all these silks?" Living here made me miss my home, where I can freely wear anything or wear nothing at all. "Gesine, find me comfortable clothes," I said as I waited for Gesine to come to me. "How about these dresses that your brother just sent to you?" she said, and I crossed my arms.
"I don't want those! It's all full of laces and fur!" I said as I shake off my head. "But prince Gwydion bought it for you!" she said, trying to pick on my conscience. "Nevermind. I'll just wear my bathrobe." I said and walked away."Huh? No! My lady! Here! A dress that is made of cotton." Gesine stopped me before I got away, and I touched the dress and realized that it was indeed made of cotton. "Well, that's more like it," I said, and as I wore the dress, I felt comfortable. It's like I'm wearing my jackets back at home. "Ah~! So comfy."
"Now, let me fix your hair," Gesine said, and she began to fix my hair as I sat up on the chair. "Just dry them out and brush them," I said, making Gesine hurry. "Don't you want to braid it?" she said, and I sighed.
"Nope. It's unnecessary." I said. "Sigh. You're too stubborn these days, my lady." she said, and I chuckled.Of course, I am. I just want to see Meztli now. I need to know that he's still breathing well. I'm being overprotective here, you know.
"There! Dry and straightened!" Gesine said. "Now, please stay in your room, my lady. I'm going to wash your clothes that you messed up." I nodded at her and smiled because I finally have an opportunity to go to Meztli. "Okay! I won't mess with a dress again," I said, and as I heard the door close, I got off my chair and stretched my arms.
"Alright! Let's go to the kitchen." I said as I began to walk out of my room.
Getting into the kitchen is a bit tricky because I have to walk down the stairs, and these stairs at the palace are no joke at all for a little child, plus I'm blind. I tried to slide on the handrails, but Gesine stopped me because there's a statue on the end of the handrails."Tsk! If I got the chance to see those statues, I'm going to break all of them." I said as I walked down slowly on the stairs. "Sniff, sniff," what's that smell? "Bleugh! What a strong perfume!" I said as I smelled the scent of perfume coming from upstairs.
